Hearing this theme is probably the most ptsd from a game you could give me (figuratively). Hell took me literal weeks to get past, and it’s so ingrained in my mind. Ballad was stupid hard too, so I’d be running all the way thru Hell again and again just for another attempt
Finally got this today. Started playing the game less than two weeks ago, but I spent over four hours trying to get under four minutes on the Sanctuary/Sacred Grounds just to get this title screen and theme. Just to say I've done everything I wanted to do in the game.
I'm not the biggest fan of this game, but nonetheless, I understand its importance to so many people. The game is a classic, and sometimes classics just don't click with people.
After completing the game for the first time, I'll say that I think that Hell was as bad as it was hyped up to be. It did take me north of twenty to thirty attempts to get through it and beat Ballos, but it only took me four attempts to actually beat Ballos. Much like with the rest of the game, it's simple trial-and-error until you get it down to a science. Ending up taking me less than a day to finish it altogether between last night and this morning. Great game though, it was fun.
I love ambient tracks in general, but this sort of industrial sound - what sounds like a bunch of machine working together here along with that bass in the background - is a huge earworm. This has been stuck in my head ever since first listening to it last night.
I did this on my first playthrough with the machine gun and no life pot and i couldn't do it. On my 2nd playthrough i got the spur and had a life pot and i beat the entire area including ballos on my first try
I believe that when Kazuma hatched Egg X that it hatched the entire corridor and that one of two things happened to give them their zombie appearance the dragons weren't ready to be hatched or the enemies in the corridor killed them, but I don't know how'd they be zombies, so I like to stick with the theory that they weren't ready to be hatched.
