I keep an Intel 3GHz Windows 98 SE machine in the basement for the specific purpose of playing X Wing vs. TIE Fighter, European Air War, and Imperium Galactica. Some games simply will not run on anything but original hardware.
Its on Aliexpress now, for 16 USD. I can't complain about that. i will only use it for Switch as I have better controllers for the PC. So, for me, Im excited about getting it.
What is the difference in the first two crash 1 games? I'm in Japan and found all of the ps1 games at a second hand store here and the crash 1 version they had was the second one you showed so I'm curious
Hi, I just saw your video and I wonder what input lag you get? I have actually delay between the audio and video of ore or less 500ms. And my input lag is the same. What usb Type did you plug it in? Great video btw.
A helpful addition would be if you used the controller test rom to show its shape compared to a brand new n64 controller. I have two brawlers and the shape isn't quite the same as a new n64 controller. Also, there was unfortunately a differencd between the two brawler controllers i had, right out of box.
Nope, this is just the original game. 40 levels does sound like a lot, though - it's possible they've inflated that number by including the multiplayer levels, though I don't know off the top of my head how many of those there were in total.
rewatching this again and… u predicted it! Moon Base Zeta showed up in a compilation on xbox pretty recently! not 50th anniversary but still. i think some other unauthorized version, “Space King” was included too
also, note on space invaders revolution which i replayed recently, the touch screen isn’t useless! if you accumulate enough total points in the classic mode you unlock power ups that can be expended for energy in each round (that’s what the blue meter is in the bottom left.) it’s really weird that it’s not mentioned anywhere in-game, but it makes some of the annoying levels a lot easier. really weird decision though
Seems to work on my MacBook Pro, and is recognised as a Switch controller with the correct buttons. I don't have any games on there to properly test it, though.

I played the original on a bbc computer in the late 80's now I'm 45 😢 . I prefer the one I played. I sort of used the imagination to fill in the blanks because the graphics were basic. I will have to have a hunt for it for nostalgia.

Space Invaders was the second arcade game I remember playing. (Sprint driving game was the 1st, but did not hook me on arcade games) Playing this iconic was the gateway for me. I played it in a pub my Dad took me to. Just got a reproduction of Pepsi Invaders for my Atari 7800. Takes me back to the simpler times of 8 bit aliens and cola wars. I thank this RU-vidr for the great job on showing so many versions
