Where's Grave Digger in Philadelphia 2011? I remember Charlie Pauken did a nice save and won that freestyle with a 31 or 32. It was the first Monster Jam show I watched and I fell in love with it.
1:54 That was not a corkscrew. That was the McMeents Twist. The first ever successful corkscrew was done by Cam McQueen in Northern Nightmare at the World Finals in 2017.
I'd have to say the top 10 best Monster Jam drivers of all time goes as follows. 1: Tom Meents 2: Adam Anderson 3: Ryan Anderson 4: Dennis Anderson 5: Jimmy Creten 6: Todd Leduc 7: Damon Bradshaw 8: Neil Elliott 9: Pablo Huffaker 10: Charlie Pauken
@@spongebobmjfan23 Jim Koehler would be one of the greatest freestylers ever if he didn't crash early so often, and guys like Menninga and Kenny are too young to really have the wins and consistent results to be called among the best ever, especially with the dominance of the Anderson brothers. Finally, I'm of the opinion that the era of Monster Jam from 2015 onward just doesn't compare in any way to what came before it.
If Northern Nightmare was just like a foot or two further back in the jump, he would've never made it because the front if the chassis would've caught the dirt and he would've flipped over.
When Bob Chandler first came up with the idea of monster trucks he never could have envisioned what one day they would turn into and be capable of. Back in the 80s they did good to just barely crawl over a stack of cars. Now they fly 50 ft high 200 ft long.....crazy.
