Out of all the things that makes me bawl like a child, it is strangely the "Chronicle of the Traveler" that makes me absolutely weep upon witnessing it. And I have no idea why. Elidibus' plight is tragic, and very sad. I feel for him. He made a promise to someone to protect everyone, and now he doesn't remember why. But that doesn't make me cry, it just makes me feel guilt for having to kill him. The Chronicle on the other hand, just evokes some emotion in me that I don't understand. And that's interesting to me, because I understand myself very well. I spend a lot of my time alone, I know what emotions things make me feel, but I can't place this one. There is so much history behind that statement, so much backdrop and meaning. Azem was the pride of an adventurer, built into an Ascian. It's intriguing to me that this game can make me feel something I didn't know existed in me. I still struggle to figure out what I feel when I see that line, because even after finishing Shadowbringers last year, I watch it all the time. Again and again. Just like the first Warden vanquish in Shadowbringers at Holminster Switch, which is another scene I tear up watching, but that's mostly because I remember feeling some strange sense of relief and grand happiness that only comes with plain and simple saving the world, and the sheer spectacle of dispatching an entire sky of light to reveal the stars and darkness behind it. Thank god and YoshiP for this expansion. It was one of the single greatest pieces of media I have ever had the good fortune of encountering.

@@kura4062 There are 13 royal arms in ffxv, one for each prior king of lucis. Noctis is also a king of lucis, making it 14, and..... (SPOILERS) Ardyn was the would be first king, making XV kings. FFXV.
@@crazy13alex I did and Gaia I find is not under the same circumstances. I found Gaia to be under very peculiar circumstances considering what happened with Eden. I really can’t judge her properly considering it wasn’t the norm.
@@acgearsandarms1343 but if their not surviving is because they have become a single rejoined, reunified world - no longer source and shards, but a single whole - maybe that would be okay.
@@Volkai Under what situation does killing a world and their history make it an okay thing? They can’t be made complete without someone dying and quite frankly it’s fine to leave them as they are.
@@acgearsandarms1343 it's not killing worlds, its returning the world as it should be, ppl on the shards doesn't know anything about it bc Hydaelyn makes them impossible to remember via the echo. Even the sundered starts crying when they see the reflection of Amaurot in Eulmore, ppl want the true world. Hades, Lahabrea and Elidibus did the rejoining via brute force bc they didn't know otherwise, that's why Emet wants to know how Graha tia went to The First, to make a better rejoining (like the one we had with Ardbert). If they had some technology from Omega like Graha did they wouldn't have to do the rejoining with those aetherial bombs.
@@NavytroyXIV true, they didn't know any better of "how"i am sure of it if they had all the knowledge needed to do a peacefull rejoining they definitely would have done that.
