He is correct to indicate right. In the UAE you are meant to indicate the opposite indicator when merging with traffic at a junction. The on coming traffic would not have been able to see the left indicator so he was correct to indicate right at the time of making the left turn! This is how we drive in the UAE - I know its different in London.
@Terrazza This is a stupid question but how bad is it on fuel? Obviously if you drive with a heavy foot its gonna be gone before you know what happened but what about driving it every day? Do you have to stop every 30 feet to fill it up or is it moderately efficient?
