Such a great loss to the building community and an even bigger loss for his family. I certainly will miss hearing and seeing Boyd and watching his genius at work. Wonderful man and such a caring soul. Rest easy Boyd ❤🙏🙏🙏
It was so very sad to hear the recent news of Boyd’s passing. He was without a doubt a renaissance man in every sense of the word. I still have the “Aztec Special” and she’s humming right along. I will always see Boyd’s ingenuity and flawless craftsmanship in every detail of this ship. He put lots of love and dedication it the build and I have never once regretted commissioning it because it allowed me to get to know Boyd, be able to share a vision with him in a collaborative manner, and at the end receive something that is an absolutely stunnign and unique work of art. And it will be cared for as the priceless object that it is (to me anyway), because it made a dream of mine come true. May you rest in peace and happiness my friend forever and ever. Thank you very much for sharing this! VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA was Irwin Allen's best science-fiction creation! The Seaview looked her best and most majestic in the 1961 movie and the first season of the series - one sleek, grand, and gorgeous submarine! So how did you acquire this lovely model of the classic Seaview? Did you construct it or purchase it in a completed form? Anyway, the sound effects compliment it nicely! 🙂

I'm completely gutted! I was thinking of him a few days back and mentioned to my wife yesterday that i haven't seen any updates from Boyd. I come to check his channel and find a lots of messages saying he has passed. Such a waste of a great human being and a genius of modeling. I have been a subscriber of Boyd for years. Rest in peace buddy. Will miss watching listening and enjoying your amazing work and presence. 😥❤️🙏🙏🙏

I just learned the news. Boyd was one of the reasons I got back into model building. When I saw his Enterprise builds I couldn’t believe it. Now I have two. I won’t forget him. Bless y’all.
I'm watching the master at work again on my favorite build, he did such an amazing job with the 3D printing, the interior detailing, and that fantastic painting of the entire model! I will miss him I'm so sorry for his love ones lose what a fantastic guy!!
