Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
i had so much hope for this channel when i first came across you. then you just vanished :( now you guys are finally back!!! i can't wait for more and please more sundeck sessions and surf please :)))))
That means a lot to me! I am almost done with the next baja episode , I really have been intending on posting every Sunday but apparently I have the work ethic of whatever is opposite of a beaver 🦫 Between all the Rahj footage and the footage on my new catamaran I have like 10 tb of video to edit, it’s a bit overwhelming to tell you the truth! I also am in the boat yard right now sanding bottom paint (my least favorite activity on gods cement earth
Welcome back, had no idea you were gone but all same great to see you okay. I wondering do you know if the plans recommended thickened epoxy fillets either side of the stringers/bulkheads. I know that would have added weight but usually most plywood cats have them and if not they generally only considered coastal cruisers.
@@sailingwithunkorahj1665 I'm just under 6ft. In the hulls, the headroom is great, much taller than me (galley inc). In the saloon, it's *just* taller than me, but not throughout the saloon. It's roomy for an older cat, but doesn't compare to a new cat. On the other hadn, as you will see with your new cat, these boats are incredible sailing boats. They're fast, even in light winds. Really, you'll be amazed.
Wondered where you guys got to. I'm part of the Jarcat community in Australia and a sometime paraglider pilot. Currently have a J5 that's useable and a J6 that needs a ton of work. Would like a live aboard boat. If you ever get to Aus let us know, were not far from Rainbow Beach. A premium paragliding spot in Queensland on the East coast.
I just found your channel and enjoyed this video. A friend of mine commanded the Coast Guard Cutter in Port Townsend. I've heard that there were a lot of great wooden boat people there.
