How much have you driven it since this video? And how is the belt condition now after driving it with that pulley (#231015)? I ask because I was planning on getting the Upgrade Kit.
Did the belt melt the three grooves in the middle of the pulley down? Plus when the bolt is tight this pulley don't spin at all.The part # 231015.I have a 2009 pontiac g8 gt also.Is there something im doing wrong here?

@@2.0carflock it’s still in the box waiting to be put on lol. My GXP went through 2 or 3 tensioners and multiple belts lol. The clutch/pulley for the a/c compressor has missing sections, need to replace it too 🤦🏽♂️
@@phillipschutter24 10spd only came into play in the 2018 gen3 model. A 10spd only matters if cars are similar power to weight. 6.2 and 5.0 are in same power range, the 6.0 isn't if it was GM would still use it. The problem, 6.0 they can't handle big boost unless you build them properly! It can be done if your wallet's large enough. Gen3 with upgraded fuel system riding around on turbo setups on factory engine with 1100 to wheels... 6.0 isn't even in same ballpark, you gotta get the 6.2... or you're gonna be in for major disappointment because only doors getting blown off will be the 6.0. This coming from someone who does NOT own a mustang. 2006 GTO and 2011 GT are close in power but GT going to have edge mod for mod on E85 tune.

Just build the top end. not many people would even want 1100 hp lmfao you people dont think about how shitty it would be to own a car that fast. 600 700whp is max for most streets. I'd hate to own a 2011 gt and have to see all the way more successful people with their better looking nicer faster mustangs hahaha. gto's are in a league of their own.
@@StelioKontos42069 Been friends with my buddy since childhood just built his 05 GTO. He ordered his new transmission and procharger from Texas speed. He had nearly $16,000 in that shipped as I recall. I won't even get into rear building his rear end, redoing fuel system, and blue printing his engine. He probably has $45,000 into his GTO it's badass car but 790 to tire is all he will ever make. Also his GTO looks like a grand am, but it sound amazing. I have never like way 04-06 GTO look, GM did a horrible job with them.
@@2.0carflock also u don’t gotta change out the whole door panel to fix the handles. iirc, the start unraveling becuz the material they used didn’t have extra slack but it can be tucked back in n glued. kinda like how the roof starts sagging, it’s cuz gm got lazy and didn’t give it any extra slack to be tucked

It needs headlight eyelids.. great mods on the g8 import.. I'm not sure if you guys can get otr cold air intakes in the states but it pretty common here in Australia on the G8/ ve commodore... I run a wagon with a g8 front bar that I grabbed from the plant before it closed down
