Sorry for the delay with posting this video, as some of you may already know if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, I was in the hospital for quite some time. Over the past month I felt off, a very usual amount of thirst I had. I was drinking over two GALLONS of water per day and nothing would quench my thirst. On top of that I would wake up every single hour of the night with my mouth being completely dry 🤒 . And just last weekend it hit me the worst, I wasn’t able to eat or drink for 3 days without throwing up. After weeks of being stubborn and fighting my body I decided to go to the doctors. They sent me straight to the ICU where I found out I was a type 1 diabetic. . Normal range of blood sugars is between 6-8 and my blood sugar levels were 30+ which could have put me in a diabetic coma and I would have died. . I’m not looking for any sympathy in fact diabetes is the best thing that’s happened to me. I’m now DIALLED in on my sleep, my nutrition and staying on top of my health. . What I’ve learned is we need to appreciate all the little things in life that we all take for granted because we never know when it could be our last day. . This is a blessing, this will only make me stronger. Just another challenge that I will conquer. Still in the gym 6 days per week, and trying to improve my blood sugars day by day. . No Excuses 😤
