You know I still look at Lance Armstrong as a icon. Honestly, I think a lot of doping was going on. Big F*KN deal. I would love to see how far we can move the sport. The idea of advancing genetics and pushing to new limits. Why Not? I would be ok with seeing this pushed to all sports. The question is, how far can we advance current norms.
I love that he's kept his accent all these years. So many actors lose their natural accents and adopt the standard American one so it's nice that he still sounds like a Texan
So here comes the corrupt media and their fluff piece....making money off of a true scumbag who lied and cheated and stole stats, prize money, accolades, future earnings from advertisers, recognition, from his fellow competitors. Then went on and ruined the lives of THOUSANDS, and here he is back at it again. Megalomania knows no bounds, if you had any courage or humility at all you'd sneak off into the desert of anonimnity where you belong never to be heard of again.
One of the worst human beings in the history of mankind. Anyone who thinks his story is just about illegal doping is completely missing the point. This man took joy and pride in ruining many innocent people's lives and he STILL couldn't care less. A true narcissist's narcissist, he's right up there with OJ Simpson, Hitler and Napoleon.
This is a very sad situation. Extremely shocking to me, personally. Nobody deserves to go through this dark and heavy life changing experience; which can affect your mental & physical health. I hope and know that he will get better soon, and push through this massive obstacle in his life. The most important thing is that he is alive.
Sorry, I don't believe this one bit. Why isn't he in jail? Wonder if he hit another car or a person/kid? The way he is acting in this interview I don't think he's learned anything. Smug & overacted. Shame on you for giving this a platform! Shame!
You can see in the interview that he did not hit anyone. His car went off, hit a pole & burst into flames. That was all in the interview. He is trying to be positive about his decision & now his consequence. Your meanness doesn’t do anyone any good.
God bless him!! Share your testimony and your faith young man. Take that darkness and turn it into HIS light! 🙏🏻 For a successful surgery and quick recovery!! ❤
Lance Betrayed Austin and American Police Officers and the Us Military, when he allowed his Mellow Johnny’s Bike Store employees to convince him to Betray us! I and my fellow Cops and Military Men and Women are still waiting on his Public Apology for that betrayal! I forgave him on the TDF fiasco immediately, because I believe he was a scapegoat…. Everyone was doing what he did….. BUT…. The betrayal of American Cops was the worst!
He’s living large what does he care. Look at his surroundings. He has no conscience. He ruined other peoples lives and he sits there and it’s still all about him. Sound familiar?
Betrayal yes , you betrayed the whole cycling community, I was an avid cyclist, who cheered on you and our team on in the Tour de France, YOU let us all down with your BULLSHIT
Prefacing every discussion with "I made cycling what it is. Livestrong raised this much money to fight cancer." Every podcast he does includes a segment on "Let me back into your hearts." It's all about Lance. He just can't help himself. And he turns people he interviews into accomplices because they agree to chat about whatever and by doing so seem to the listener to be on the side of his redemption. I don't think he has apologized publicly to Greg LeMond. (Or certain other people he tried to destroy) Until this man does that, admitting that calling him an asshole for speaking out right from the beginning, I will never take anything he says seriously.
I used to think he was a Conservative and fairly intelligent, but after hearing all his recent idiotic comments about the existence of "sensible gun control laws", It shows clearly that he is just another hollywood liberal.
STILL very arrogant, (MY Opinion), and am so glad I don'r drink dope or do ANY 'podcasts' will NEVER listen to him I avoid him like the plague. CHEATER LOSER!!
I could not stand for one minute Lance, the cycllist. He was an arrogant egocentric selfish prick who took doping to a whole another level. Intimidate his ex colleagues and other riders, had an Mafia-ish organisation around him. And big companies paid to cover things up. Pantani, Ullrich,Virenque or whoever did it mainly for themselves and when all blowed up they bullied noone. He deserved his deep fall. Once I thought i am little biased against Americans because back in the days I was not happy when LeMond won the tour, especially in 1989. But everytime when I saw somehting with LeMond he was a nice guy. Recently I saw some interviews from the TdF 1989, he spoke humble and friendly, even often in French, what Lance never did , not French, Nor friendly. So, no, I am sure I could not stand Lance, even if he would be a countryman of mine. However , Lance the internet streamer seems more likeable. I saw once one of his cycling streams, there was not much to complain.
Armstrong needs 2 read 📚 the Bible about 4giveness & repentance. Yes he lied . Yes he cheated . But 3/4 or more of the Pro Peleton Riders were on the Juice as l put it .. on something. Lance most probably could have Won the TdeF a few times ⏲️ with out the Juice . Maybe not the 7 . But a few . He was that Good . Glad he knows who is friends are . Never met him , but would love ❤️ 2 ride with him one day . And shout him a Coffee ☕️ after . Australian 🇦🇺 🪃 Older Cyclists 🚴♂️ Cheers Lance 🍻
Her son Tucker bought what they thought was a Xanax. It was laced with fentanyl and he died. His story inspired Tucker's Law in Texaas. Here is more if you want to know the rest of the story. cbsaustin.com/news/local/mother-takes-fentanyl-fight-to-texas-legislature-with-tuckers-law-austin-texas-capitol-politics-opioid-crisis-fentanyl-crisis-leander-isd
I always suspected that there was alot of PEDS in the tour and that Lance was probably one of them doping, but I was also not NAIV enough to think he was the only one doing it and that pretty much the whole peloton was racing juiced to the gills! So in my world I never saw Lance as a cheater, it would have been a totally another story if I thought he alone got the advantages of doping and therefore won the tour de France but I always saw it as a necessary evil to level the playing field. So if you where NAIV enough to take Lance cheating personally its in you, and you should probably focus on better things and see what Lance did as amazing it is for real, doped or not. Nobody has won the tour 7 times in a row even tho the guys before Lance could cheat undetected
