Your se should already have heated mirror it’s just don’t have the blindspot light you probably can get the glass but still would have to get a system to make it work
Are those headlight brackets responsible to lock front bumper? I have an issue putting my bumper back on there’s gaps under the headlights where they intersect. Even the sides of the bumper are not flushed but on there. I hate the look because it appears like someone hit me when nobody did.
Hey Nade, Nice video, You’re good with doing all the work and videos pretty much by yourself and it’s admirable! Could you please tell me where did you get the custom led’s done to the touring headlights? I’ve got a 21 Touring and would love to copy cat those!
Love the vids bro. So question. I’m in the process of doing these same mods with the mirrors however I have questions. I watched your video where you switched to the 2.0 door harnesses and depinned connectors in order to do so. My question is that now that you have oem lights with sequential lighting, in order to install aftermarket lights, will all you need to do is connect pins to the purple and pink wires, connect the plug to those wires and then connect the aftermarket sequential lights? Along with running the red wire for the animations and Drls? Or if you don’t have oem sequential lighting, of course just follow the steps you have. I guess my question is if you are able to change the 1.5 harness to 2.0 harness, then would just getting mirrors with the oem sequential lights be simpler?
It’s not as simple as it looks it’s more work and money vs doing the new way where you can used the same mirror and all you make is the connection to the signal
@@NadeWes understandable. Doing it both ways, which do you recommend if I want to do all 3 mirror mods? I eventually want to install the blind spot monitors with the pioneer module like you did. I know the pioneer module is discontinued but there are a few still out here. But for right now I’m just trying to install the sequential signals and the power mirrors. Basically I’m trying to figure out if should I even disassemble the mirror, buy the caps and housing, harness, and plugs and reassemble it that way, or since I’m going to the blind spot monitoring mod can I just buy the mirrors and harness and go from there?
@TheOnlyRodgers if you want to do the Blindspot monitoring later down the line, I would suggest the first way, but you could wire it like the second way if you do the first way only reason why is because the mirrors already had the Blindspot monitoring icon and stuff wired into it so all you’d have to do is just tap into it when you get to that point
So with this video being two years old now. Would u recommend me to get it in my daily 2019 1.5? Hows your car handling it after all this time? I keep seeing people say dont add air intakes that it will ruin sensors and blah blah blah
It’s been running good I still have the intake i just changed out the filter it was kinda dirty and old you can wash it but i decided to change it but it been handling great to this day
For 21-22 accords you would have to do a 18-20 front end to even run the grille cause when Honda made them different to where the old stuff don’t work on those years
Does the start up animation on the mirrors only work when the headlights are fully on? Or does it also work when your headlights are on "Auto" and it's daytime? Hopefully this makes sense.
