Yeah, well mine 2018 Rogue had a silver philips screw to remove towards the floor board before uninstalling that cover that I couldn't see and I broke the grip ring trying to pry off the cover. Have a look for that first before you try to remove the black cover folks.
Old RX330 had those annoying bolts on spacers instead of the clamps. Always would rust and the filters would never seat quit right. It made a filter swap take almost half an hour for me. This new RX takes all of a minute. I was almost mad the first time I did it. 😂
Nice vid, straight to the point and concise. The glave box damper arm is a pop arm. You actually dont need to remove the screw. Just pull the arm up and it should just pop up, and push it down to snap it back in place.
Your directions are great so this is not directed towards you this is directed towards FORD. What a stupidly complicated labor intensive process just to replace a cabin air filter. My previous car all had to do was basically open the glove box (albeit a little bit lower than normal) but compared to this it was EASY. This is downright ridiculous
