Very cool, but different I like it especially for a small boat, weekender, designed for the TN river or intercoastal. Maybe a bit like the McGregor tried to do years ago, but this has Much better layout, maybe for older couple. Sort of an electric sailing luxury pontoon boat. Bit pricey. Any risk of capsize? Better to put the batteries deep in each hull? Thanks
"Your biggest asset is your mental strength, not your physical strength" Marconi. Epic words spoken by a true 'sailing championship' veteran, and an inspiration to the sailing community worldwide. In this life, I learned long ago that "we stand on the shoulders of giants." Cole has some remarkable 'giants' in her own life, not to mention her amazing stature in comparison. What a bad ass...! Best always, JP
I was excited to see this feature on Sail Magazine, however it is so sad to see this video in a vertical format, it could have been so much more breathtaking.
I wish you people would stop praising Manhattan apartments and actually look at sailboats. If your readership wants second waterfront homes, maybe you should consider changing the name of your publication.
Many of the Neel trimarans has been sailed in the ARC, even a video by an already accomplished sailor taking part on such an Atlantic crossing here on this platform, on a Neel 51. The fact is this "Manhattan apartment" can out sail many of the boats, that you most likely consider "real sailboats", and offer the accommodation, that most expect today.
Hello, a bit belated, here's the link for subscription services. my.sailmagazine.com/pubs/WS/SAL/entry2.jsp?cds_page_id=231494&cds_mag_code=SAL&id=1673388101113&lsid=30101601132046186&vid=2
These are great ideas and not what I expected when I saw title. I was expecting the typical video of buying a very old boat and doing all the work yourself to fix it.
