Do you sterilised your materials or do you use them as they come? Saps, flakes, dirt, bugs etcetera may end up in your paintings and affect colour and longevity?
I give the natural materials a good shake to release any dirt etc. In this work, I'm not concerned about the longevity, color changes etc. For me the focus is more about the creative process, rather than final product. Thank you for your interest.
