No idea why this was branded epiphone instead of Gibson. They could have tripled the price with a gibson label amd it would be very highly regarded. Thankfully its branded Epiphone so alot of people overlook it due to that, and thank god they do. This amp is very well designed and an absolute steal. Probably going up in value now as the word slowly gets out.
Great informative presentation. Glad I stumbled onto it. One suggestion...get rid of the background piano track. It clashes with your voice and makes the whole thing difficult to listen to.
I have played these guitars and they are wonderful, expensive but similar in sound to a hummingbird but crisper. This guitar is more for a soloist and is to crisp for a band. Would love to have one of these. I do have the Gibson Dove which beats this in every way in sound and versatility but even more expensive.
Trying to decide if I want to buy a lefty APX700ii. Just listened to your review through my new Yamaha THR10ii wireless practice amp…. which I would also use with this guitar for practicing. Thanks for your review. I’m going to pull the trigger and buy the guitar!
Excellent video! Where did you find this information about the improved sound of the 775 in terms of additional layers? Many people report that the action of the 775 model is much heavier than that of the 745.
I have been a pro bassist for over 50 years, and I also play guitar and banjo and mandolin. My wife got me one of these for Christmas ,and I am so in love with this thing. I just love to play it, and can't seem to put it down. If you want to have some fun get you one. I LOVE IT!!
Ironically it has the same neck width and specifications as a '59 Les Paul and everyone who complained about its neck being too wide wants a '59 Les Paul 😂 no one complained about Angus Young and Tony Iommi and Slash getting commemorative logos either, but when Les Paul gets one all hell broke loose. Anyway, the Less + is hands down one of the best Lecters I've played and I'm happy to own it.
