Brings shivers along my spine. Russel Morris IS the REAL thing. Rachel rang out all over our Kiwi [New Zealand] radio waves in its era and I was 7 in 1970 after hatching in '63. And even at the tender age of 7 I loved Russell Morris' masterclass piece 'Rachel'. I felt it then and today [as I write this today it is Sunday 23/06/2024] 54 years later I STILL feel it. It is a song of hope and faith under all regress of the insane Vietnam War. And I am not an anti-war activist as my grandfather served our country in the NZ Expeditionary Forces in WW1. Of course I don't support war, however I will support any/all military personnel who serve their country to defend it. Thank you Russell Morris this live performance is as great as any of yours.

Im looking to this song for more than 20 years, i know i heard this song in my childhood or in my grade school days, and i don’t know the title, until i hear this one time in internet and this song awake my soul that i can’t comprehend but it feel so good.
