Exploring Charlotte Harbor above and below the waterline. Charlotte Harbor is the most pristine and undeveloped harbor in the country. Email me @ Brian@paradisedetailing.com
I’ve fished this pier many times. Hit and miss like most. Hard to fish when the tide is really ripping. Cut mullet or finger mullet will produce some small Grouper in the middle.
Love the fishing stories! Keep up the great work. Would love tips on catching targeted species. Just moved to the area and would love to learn as much as I can
Are you serious?? What the heck this is out of control. I’m usually a smart mouth back at people on my boating channel regarding you know what maybe I need to chill so I don’t get throttled down. Maybe it was my response that triggered them.
@@neslyclermont8680 whenever an area is questionable I go in on an incoming tide and just idle through so you don’t hit an oyster bar or run a ground as long as you’ve got incoming water no matter what happens you can push off and get out. 14 inch draft is questionable in a lot of areas in bull bay. I’ve parked mine on sandbars my fair share.
@@CharlotteHarborFisherman ok thanks for the advice I’m new to the area and boat out of burnt store marina started watching your videos to figure out some spots to try.
As always, thanks for sharing. Surprising, Google Maps has been very helpful at locating locations, Catfish Creek popped up in the harbor even though there were a few locations having the same name. The phone is getting a new list of GPS coordinates to be entered as new waypoints. 🧭
I'm watching this one in several sittings. The way that red hit that Little John was awesome. I've been fishing that area for the past couple of weeks, loads of mullet and some big sharks too. I have a friend who keeps only 4 different lures with him. The gold spoon and MirrOdine has been producing pretty good lately.
Hi so what was the issue on my 50 etac change the vst was dirty black after that I can go backwards good but going forward it what to t stalls put it to neutral it idle good still trying to figure out the problem
Really liked the fuel cleaning abilities. Rough weather will stir up any dirty fuel at the bottom of the tanks, and at rough weather you really don't want any engine failure.
@@CharlotteHarborFisherman found the part at my local mechanic. I was having problems making a long run then all a sudden I would get a over temp alarm shut down start it back up and off again. Installed the part this weekend before our tournament and made several long runs and never got the alarm all weekend. I can't tell you how many times I've had the boat in the shop too for all these same problems and it turns out to be this exact part.........lol Gotta love it. Glad I found your video
@@shaneeasterberg8256 glad I could help. I wish somebody would’ve had this posted for me. Your comment sounds exactly like me pulling my hair out for like two years dealing with that problem.
Good afternoon Brian. It was a pleasure meeting you in person this morning at the wall. I work in that area for the state park and I fish that area often. My brother and I just started night fishing for sharks from the beach. It is a great area to fish with many different approaches to fish given all the variety of species available there. I was watching your content and learned a lot about that area before I was working there. Keep up the great work and let me know if you ever have any questions or if you ever want to fish with us. Again it was a pleasure meeting you.
Hey Matt thanks for dropping in. You've got a great job getting to hang out at that park all day. definitely let me know if you guys get on some good fish also anytime you see the fishing hot shoot me an email or comment. especially if the shephead or pompano get fired up. I hear there's a guy who night fishes thee for monster snook off the beach all the time as well.
Anywhere I can throw a line, grew up in Opa- Locka, I could ride my bicycle to the edge of the Everglades, walk along canals, fish, Best times Thank you!
Just bought land and having a house built in that exact area. Should be done next November/December. Can't wait to learn the area, tides, moon phases, seasons, bait migration & seasonal wind patterns. Along with bending an elbow with a fellow angler, lol. Can you harvest those oysters?
Nice one Brian. Filter on, When I'm scuba diving I use a red filter on my go pro and it make a big difference. Looks like your in Bull Bay and the water clarity there is so much better than Burnt Store Marina area. So much rain really darken the water. Keep up the great work your doing.
Thanks for the tip on the filter. Full disclosure of this video was shot before the storm. I’ve been really backed up on edits and haven’t fished in three weeks. I know it’s bad. Been working on my other channel a lot.
Sand perch and morajja are not the same fish. Those are sand bream sand perch there is a reason why they look different and it's not because of maturity even though they are similar looking
@@bobsmoot2392 I agree but I pretty much throw one rod and reel. thats also why I got smoked by a 100 plus pound tarpon the other day lol. I do have a super light tackle set up for freshwater though. thanks for watching.
