Welcome to the RU-vid channel of the Summit High School Theatre Program and Drama Club! Our channel is dedicated to our productions, including musicals, plays and other performances!
Summit High School has been a prominent name in high school performing arts across New Jersey, the country, and the globe. We have been celebrated with countless honors from institutions such as Papermill Playhouse, Montclair State University, and the FRINGE Festival. We take pride in storytelling, sharing important messages, and learning valuable life lessons with each and every production.
We're a public high school located in Summit, New Jersey. All funding for our shows originates from ticket sales, fundraising, and the generosity of the Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee (SPARC) and Hilltopper Stage Productions. We don't receive any funding from the Summit Board of Education.

Wow, really classy, having underage teenagers play characters making lascivious jokes and crude gestures...and this was approved by at least one adult working in the school. Not creepy/ borderline you-know-what at all...
Sadly the full show was taken down by RU-vid a few months ago due to copyright. We are looking into reposting it at some point in the future if possible!
Wow! I've seen tons of high school productions in my day, but this was the absolute best. Everything - acting, singing, choreography, was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
@@HilltopperTheatre Thank you! You have a terrific program there. I did MY first musical in high school...and have been doing them for over 50 years at various local venues here in Cleveland OH
Viewing other Something Rotten school productions, this one is certainly carried by the actors and the direction is more grounded and raw. While some things aren't perfect, this manages to have the most heart due to the performances. This school has some great student actors that I hope find success in their futures.
I love this musical, so seeing it done by a high school theatre department that never fails to impress is exciting. I waited for this to come out for ages, and since it has, I have been unable to stop watching. Everyone involved should be extremely proud of themselves - well done to everyone :)

Very well done for a high school production, though, I believe the actors had to fight for their lives against the band. It kind of overpowered them. The young lady playing Rusty was phenomenal! Her voice was amazing!
THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF MY FAV HS SHOWS FOR LEGALLY BLONDE! I'm a massive fan of the show, probably seen it 8 times now, but my goodness, you guys did amazing!! Everyone did such a great job!! I love how the Delta Nus have the Greek inspired outfits when they're the chorus, and I really love how you guys did There, Right There. Nikos and Carlos had amazing energy! I could just praise everything...I adore the vocals here, especially Elle's. She did a great job!!
