❤❤❤❤❤ The parade takes place every Sunday at eleven o' clock and many tourists get gathered at the place to watch the Evzones whom all of us really admire!!! What they do is very difficult and it is a great honour also to serve as an Evzon. Only few are capable of finishing the harsh training and they deserve our full respect! 💕💕💕💕❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, it is great to find this video. This take on U2's Rattle and Hum classic with B.B. King. Tom Green did a phenomenal job with the choruses. You could tell that the guys were all enjoying it. Eddie was slamming on the drum fills... I saw this live at Merry Bomb's 2000 set at Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts. They owned that night, and still own one of my favorite rock and roll memories.
[KOREAN TV SHOW <Maybe I’ll go again>] Request for cooperation Hello:) This is a travel program directing team broadcasting in Korea. We aim to give satisfaction to many travelers who are restricted from traveling abroad due to the COVID-19 situation with great videos. In preparing for the Oxford & Cotswolds episode this time, I have a request to show the viewers a wonderful look of <Christ Church> Could you please allow us to use your RU-vid video on our broadcast screen along with the source? I look forward to your positive consideration. Thank you!
It's a mid-70's Slingerland Buddy Rich model (not part of the TreeHouse kit). It looks like a metal shell because of the chrome outer wrap but it's actually a maple shell. Yes, it is at a medium tuning.
Thanks, Francesco. The traditional instrumentation for an organ trio is organ, guitar, and drums. There generally is not a bassist. The bass register is played by the organist with the left hand and/or feet.
Hi Eddie! I am enjoying your video up here in Toronto, Canada in 2023. Great performance! I hate to be the guy asking about equipment, but I'm hoping to upgrade my cymbals in 2024. I see you're using the Zildjian Custom Dark 18˝ crash. Are your other cymbals and the hi hats also Custom Dark? I play jazz standards (part time and not professionally). I will be looking for a used set. Would you recommend these?
Thanks for your kind words, Wayne. There's no doubt that Zildjian makes fine cymbals, and their K and K Custom lines are certainly a good choice for jazz. But the reality is that each individual cymbal has it's own unique character. Two cymbals that are the exact same make & model can have radically different sounds, so you really need to audition the cymbals in-person and choose the ones you like best. While I do like Zildjian, I play many different brands including Bosphorus, Istanbul, Crescent, Paiste, and others. My point is: pick what sounds good to you. Your cymbals are a part of your own unique sound, so have fun creating the "Wayne Sound."
Thanks for the kind words, Michael. If you compare TreeHouse to other custom drum builders, I actually think their prices are very good. But yes, if you compare them to mass-produced kits from a major label, they are going to cost more. Each of their kits is handmade, one at a time, and you just can't do that on the cheap. Bottom line: they aren't cheap but they are a good value IMHO. Thanks again for your comments!

These little drums sound so full and warm! Toms are milky, bass is round and has a surprising amount of body. It sounds better than most 16" kick-based kits!
Yes, they sound surprisingly good, in my opinion (kudos to TreeHouse). I have a couple of different 16" bass drums and I've found that the key to getting a good sound out of them is all in the tuning, dampening, and head selection. When I first get a new bass drum, I spend a lot of time experimenting with different scenarios before dialing-in the best sound. On this particular drum, I ended up with an Aquarian Super-Kick as the batter head, a smooth white Ambassador as the front head, both heads are tuned just a 1/2 turn tighter than completely slack (just where a little bit of tone is starting to creep in) and I put a felt strip at the top and bottom of the front head.
Very impressed with the sound of this kit - and great playing to boot. I play a Treehouse nesting kit as well, in trad-ish bebop sizes: 18/14/11. This bass drum is especially impressive! Does it project with out a mic? Nice work.
Thanks for your comments. As you might expect from such a shallow bass drum, the room itself has a bigger impact on the overall sound than would be the case with a deeper drum -- i.e., the size and acoustics of the room have a bigger impact on the amount of bass frequencies that project out into the room, so it sounds better in certain spaces than in others. But I've been pleased with the sound in most spaces. In fact, on this recording with the bass drum mic positioned about 6 inches from the front head, the bass frequencies were actually too pronounced and I needed to dial them back in the mix. Overall I tried to keep the EQ as flat as possible so as to give an accurate portrayal of the sound of the kit, but that mic location actually exaggerated the bass response (presumably due to the proximity effect) so I needed to cut it back in order to give a more accurate representation of the actual sound.
