Im definitely eager to get my application approved and ready to go! I have always had my eyes set on being a heavy haul specialized haul truck driver. Its so amazing and not boring. Van and reefer are boring lol.
I have an excellent driving record with a Virginia license of +5 points. I have 6-8 months of open deck experience and I want to get into heavy haul and specialized for sure! I applied, and looking forward to the call 😊
I used run into a man that had a red cab over Pete. With a factory c 16 he drove for Daily . I retired from CAT dealer he brought many things that I helped unload and then assembled for customer I don’t Romberg his name. But his wife would show up with him sometimes too.
Hi there everyone. Im considering coming to daily however Im still waiting to talk to a driver or 2 because thats how I vett the company. Its kind of hard to ask a video a question.
@@paulthompson8642 yea i mean. it just doesnt make sense to be a company driver hauling specialized freight on a mileage pay paccage. lone star pays like that and a few others. there is way too much down time and you can only put in 200-300 miles a day. when i first started deiving i did rgn with a damn started company and they gave me $350 a day flat rate. a freakn mega carrier. plus mileage. and dentention and shit. i run a 48ft flatbed 70 cpm and easily easily see 2700-3100 miles a week if not more. i take home 2k or more a week after taxes on a w2. if your pulling rgn at 70cpm thats like driving for 39cpm when u break it down.
When Covid hit, Todd took the time to discuss with me personally about the PPP program and even reduced the trailer lease payment to help the Owner Operators out. Best company by far to lease on to if you want to be treated like you matter!! My truck..ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XdR58auBi_Q.html
I'm a Daily Express Owner Operator. They treat me like I REALLY matter to the company. They will help a trucker in a time of need and there is no better heavy haul company to lease on to. Here is a video of my truck!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XdR58auBi_Q.html
I no longer work at Daily Express. What Todd speaks about in this short video is true. When I made my decision to resurrect JJ MAS Transport, Inc of Houston, TX. He gave me his undivided attention for an entire two hours. There I was telling him why I was leaving and he was listening to me and gave me some of the best feed back I could have ever received. He gave me questions to ponder and Ideas to think about. I will forever credit part of my success to that two hour talk. Thank you Todd for those two hours that as of today, have become two years of success.
There's guys out there that feed stories to their drivers that it's too expensive to fix a fricking light on a truck or something else, then you see a truck going down the road with an unpainted bumper piece, those business owners are just greedy, common sense if they weren't making money they would shut the business down.
Ive never seen a single O/O that has drivers hired, not crying to their drivers that they're not making money. They all cry about not making money to their drivers. So what's the point of buying trucks hiring people if you're not making money, shut your business down and let your drivers run for a company with benefits. One was crying that he has no money not making money, a year later he buys an 80k car paid in full, I thought you weren't making money.. They're all full of fucking shit.
I am researching OTR truck drive career before I dive into this field. I was wondering if the benefits such as health, 401k etc is provided for owner operators as it is for non owner operators? I am assuming it is. IF so, is there a price/cost difference between owner operators and non owner operators and how much would the difference would be? I realize cost may vary pending on company and packages, just trying to get a rough idea. Any feedback would be appreciated.
