They could be faster? 500 FPM for 14 floors is about as good as you're gonna get lol. Some nearby apartments are double the height at 35 floors yet only have 700 FPM elevators
There used to be two elevators in this set, but sadly they took down one of them, likely because there wasn't a lot of traffic, and they actually no longer serve the 4th floor all after the Arclight theaters (now AMC) was built on top.
Kohl’s is no more here because Elev8 Fun is taking over. Which means Coral Square (my local mall) now has the only mall-anchored Kohl’s in all of the South Florida region, until a potential Sawgrass Mills location comes!
I mean I did check a month or 2 ago. They kinda finished painting outside. I did get a little peek when I went inside the mall, I looked at the little hole between the doors and I saw that it was empty.
It’s safe to say these play a part in my childhood, but although they have i’ve seen them as they progressively just got worse throughout the years. These things do need some help, and especially since the car on the left has been out of service for about 4 years now
I believe this elevator was installed around 2014 or 2015. I have stayed at this Hotel at least 2 times and this is my favorite Hotel in Tysons Corner because it is very easy to get to the Mall. Also these elevators are not key-carded and I hope they don’t get key-carded
