I've wanted a GN for a loooong time !!! I graduated HS in 1987......When the GN 1st came out..... So 36 years ago 🤔☹ EXCEPT now I CAN afford 1..... To a certain $$ amount.... I'd be willing to spend $20-$30K ON 1....... I'd want 1 that's ALL stock tho !!!! Hard to find..... BEAUTIFUL body lines on those Buick GN...........nice quarter run times too.......Cool vid 👍🥳
11.60’s should put it around 7.4-7.5’s in the 1/8. Has the car been gutted at all? We ran a similar combination minus the dome’s and nitrous. Our best with a .030 flat top 350 with double hump heads and a Manley 292/488 cam and a 750 double pumper and a 373 gear was a 7.52 at around 88-90 mph with a all metal car. The interior, inner fender’s, and gas tank was removed.
Almost identical setup to what I’ll be running this year in my Camaro, at least to start. Flat top 355 60cc 462’s 287/487 lift comp, 750 annular quick fuel and 4.10’s. Probably going to run a 100 shot at least in the last part of the year and hoping to have a trans built with a brake
For an all-steel 70s brick with a 355 and only a 100 shot, that car freaking moves. Considering a stock 6 speed Hellcat runs slightly slower, it's no slouch. Gotta love people like you who wanna talk shit on "only 11 second" cars when their car runs a 15 at best.
@@blade-fpv9411 I agree with Yeah-right. My 71 Nova all steel pump gas NA street driven 2500 miles or more a year goes 10.28 @128+ with a 383. No giggle gas.
It's a guy at my job who has a 1969 nova with a built bbc 427 and a 4speed m22. His dad left it to him he was an old school drag racer. It sounds absolutely monstrous
@@MAJORMAN299 Old domed heavy 11cc TRW pistons, GM pink rods, GM steel crank, factory four bolt main. Upped the nitrous to 150 HP in Nov and went 11.2x @ 120.
I want to do this to my 99.5 f350 super duty zf6 power stroke. yours would look nicer if it was larger diameter..... looks spindly but hey that's cool, a big hello from the northwest corner of Oregon.... people who drive automatics are shiftless
