@@livio2706Hi, if you have the latest bios version ( August and later) you don't need to do anything. This settings are set by default. This video published little earlier. Check this video if you want
I don't think but i am not sure. You can try this.. is very similar. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hCl0v9vWwDE.htmlsi=2kh27kXJhwr9ppPU
The test is invalid because SN850X has a read speed of 7300+ unless your mother board is not designed for it. Stick one in a X570 board and you'll see those numbers.
@@ZeekMX Those 2 are installed on the same motherboard so tests are not invalid. This motherboard has one pcie 5 and four pcie 4. It is one of the latest highend Z790 newer from x570
@@pctechbuild40 - Correct. We can make it all go away by using PrimoCache Also requires an optimizer like Pegasus System Utilities. Not that expensive.
@@medvezhon_ok This case has only one dust filter at the bottom side. Mesh works like a filter and believe it is true... Also you can find and buy magnetic dust filters
@@azmza7724 About this game i don't know but on some games and some test i did nothing happened but from the first time always set bios after update to Intel POW power managment so this cpu mever had serious problems. Now this setting is default on all moterboards with this update
@@whappy212 Cfm is ok. Not very good also not bad. Fans are low noise. About color what you mean? Check link on description and click to see info about fans
Hey PC Tech & Builds! I am thinking of buying this pc case but I would like to controll the fan speed. So what are the fans power connectors? Are they directly plugged into the PSU with Molex or are they connected / daisy chained to the motherboard?
I installed it today and it was a pain to push the L bracket up and screw in the screws, so I had to lay my PC on a flat surface. I also used my mobo screws to put the L bracket in as to me, the screws provided were too short and I had to push my card up a bit higher as the holes on the straight bracket were touching a port, so the screws wouldn't go in.@@pctechbuild40
I have these exact 2. The 990 PRO is the undisputed king in the Gen4 category. Massive difference where it matters most, IOPS and Random Read. That's why I use the 990 as the main Windows drive the SN850X as storage. Furthermore, the 990 uses the fastest DDR4 RAM at 4266Mhz. Lastly, don't underestimate the SN850X. It's the second best.
how do I get new fans and the radiator with the case to put the fans in it because when I was on vacation i was given this exact GPU but its water cooled how do i switch it back
@@BloodyShin Yes also on gaming. If your thermal pads touching chips you may meed 1mm pads but if they are not touching chips you may need 2mm. Also check all screws if they are on right place and if are tight correct. You board must be straight without curves
yea and the power rail on the otherside of that plate u put the pads on. At the opposite side of the long piece 1mm piece u have pads to on the powerrail, and mfets. u know the thickness of them? or is it putty under it? i need to replace it on mine cus it was dried and cracks all over it and it crumbled away also get random crashes on load think when something get to hot. if u know thickness of all pads. and if powerrail got pads or thermalputty pls let me know
I rather go with schematic. I saw that it prevents fbi looking into pc Put water cooler in front and cool the air first Separate by 6 inches so water can't get in
Here my lian li evo xl with 19 fans sitting on the table, my 4090 around 55-60c during heavy load, and 28-31 during office works. My proc also 14900k, but i used side gpu upright bracket, the difference int temp truly significant compare to horizontal or vertical. 😅
Not worth it. I had a reduction of 5 degrees already on a NZXT phantom case with just a 20mm fan in the fron for intake and two of the same above for exhaust. And the medium one of the rear too of course for exhaust as well
@@pctechbuild40Why don't you use 7800x3D then? Or wait a little bit for 9800x3D? Much lower temp, higher perf in gaming, hassle free (no need all kind of microcodes update and or setting bios) and worry free (has my CPU degraded? Will it?).
@@mandasantoso From the start my 13900k and 14900k run at intel power limits. If you check earlier videos i uploaded you can find them. 2 or 3 times max my cpu had problems but only when i disabled those settings from bios for testing. My cpu is working great but sure i will try amd. It is my job so sure i can build amd setup in the future!
I think in this case you can add 1 or 2 more fans at the top of psu for cooling gpu. But it is tricky to install them so slim fans. This card is not hot and gemeral this pc is cool enough
Hey Bro ! I'm back 😀.. After a marathon to take my channel back i'm here again. Thank god they didn't erase any of my videos. That was a Beautifull system you build. I don't agree with the guy who told you about the front fans and the extra bottom ones. Everything looks Amazing. The only "advise" i can give to anybody who sees this post is what i did for my pc, the same you did here. The fans on top should be sending air down, like you put them, i understood it from the position of the blades of the fans. They should not be exhausts like the rear fan for better air flow. Otherwise is like sending all the air out of the box. I had them inverted at first and there was no air flowing so i placed them the opposite way and now my pc has better air flow instead of a vacuum in front of the CPU and the Temperatures stay low, especially now in the summer. That's all. So happy to see you again here. We'll talk. Regards.
You need to disable Current Excursion Protection, not enable it. Disable this function to gain performance and lower the temperatures. And set Power Limits manually to 125W and 253W.
@@lamaistul They are not technicians so they need something more simple. This setting can be better. Current Excursion Protection can be disabled.. it is optional. Power limits has options for Power limit x Time and watts and also TDP Watts... What is the best setting? Thanks
@@MaxRiley yes you can use wd without heatsink but i recommend to buy one with heatsink. The same for Samsung. Problem is high temps limit performance and max life for any hardware part
@@pctechbuild40even if used for storage? Any idea of what the temperatures are without a heatsink on idle and on load? Having that said, I'm not sure which one of the two to buy. WD is 40 euro cheaper.
@@MaxRiley If it is only for storage ok but it depends also what temps motgerboard have and inside your case. If you want it for gaming or video editing or compress better use heatsink
@@pctechbuild40 I don't do gaming or video editing. Just storage. Which of the 2 units would you recommend? 300 for the WD and about 340 for the Samsung
@@gwsbatov You can use controller with software i think but needs searching. The controller i have installed working with his own hardware device.Lamptron is the brand
@@pctechbuild40 thanks for answer , but if i download a new bios update i need first to set pl1 and pl2 and 307 at deafault?? or if i install the f7e automatic set all intel deafault , thanks again
@@pctechbuild40 and if for any issue i want to return to last version , only need to re installed right? i have in usb the actual bios i have , and the new one , if the new one is not stable only reinstalling last version solve it?
You don't have to do anything for "INTEL POR". These days gigabyte released new bios and "INTEL POR" is Default enabled. They upload new bios all the time!!!
Because you like this case and you don't want to install fans on side position and you want mesh on front not glass and because you can add 3 fans extra if you want. Lian li are idiots??
@@pctechbuild40 then why not take a regular case like the cougar duo face? I don't think the 3 lower fans will play a huge role in temperatures) and to disfigure this beautiful case by putting fans forward is just a horror
@@neyfi1337 A case have so many things to check before buy. So eg Cougar is good but not the same quality. I ask you again Lian Li are idiots?? Everyone can have different taste and building needs
This heatsink is on default by manufacturer (ASUS). I am not sure if you can find same. I searched little and i did not find similar. Must be exactly the same
