Juuri pari päovää sitten palauttivat Ruotsista Suomalaisia pääkalloja, jotka he kävivät kaivamassa 1800-luvulla hautausmaalta Suomesta, saadakseen tietoa, kuinka ala-arvoista rotua suomalaiset ovat. He ovat mitanneet vanhojen pääkallojen mitat, nähdäkseen, mistä me tulemme ja mitä rotua olemme.
Didn't know that finns noticed ukraine's strive for independence a hundred years ago... Don't let us fall, please. I don't want to be a part of Russia. Don't want my children and grandchildren be drafted to muscovian army. I feel sorry for the war between soviet army and Finland. Ukrainian soldiers were there, completely brainwashed...
They were not brainwashed. They just did not have a choice. Finns were surprised that the Ukrainians captured in the Raate campaign did not like the Moscow rule any more than Finns. When they were asked why did they then not surrender earlier, everyone answered that they had to kill the politruks first, and that was easier said than done
I don't know if they were brainfashed, but merely forced to fight. They were Soviet Union soldiers and as such the enemies to us Finns at the time. It's been about 80 years and I think that we should finally settle this once and for all. The Soviet Union is the one to blame. The Moscow regime is the one to blame. Not Ukrainians. We Finns, however, do bear a responsibility of our actions. We weren't a part of Soviet Union. We were independent and when the Soviet Union attacked us, we defended our land and our independency. So I think that the fault is in the Soviet Union and their Moscow regime. They forced both of us to fight. They forced Ukrainian to come here at the high north, to either to be killed or to freeze to death. And they forced us Finns to take advantage of that whole winter thing, because we wanted to win the war and defend ourselves as much as we could.
It is not released. However, if you google "rip youtube" or something like this, you might find a site where you can download youtube videos as mp3:s to your phone or your mp3 player. There is no copyright to this poem so you don¨'t have to worry about any violations there.
Эйно Лейно (1878-1926) С финского Привет, Украина! (Terve Ukraina!)
What an interesting interweaving of destinies.. the grandfather of the Azov leader fought against russians being in the Finnish Army. Now his offspring is doing the same but as a part of Ukrainian Army💪
And not to mention where the Finnish Marshall (who was swedish speaking and NOT ethnically finnish by ANY means) was located when he first hear of what made him come back to his country. We are all one people whether we choose to call ourselves israeli, palestinian, finnish, swedish, russian, ukrainian... it's our elected governments who are not. But then again- they're not the ones on the front lines. Ever.
Suututtaa tämä venäjän halu taas maailman herruuteen, aivan tuntuu olevan verrattavissa, Vovan tyyli tähän nimeltä mainitsemattomaan käsi ojossa esiintyneeseen viiksi ihmiseen,, no saipahan Vova eliminoitua kokkinsa.
Я поділяю ваш біль. Сім'я мого батька втратила своє село в Карелії. Вони відбулися 6 грудня 1939 року. Це також був національний день Фінляндії. Але мої карельські предки завжди говорили: «Ніколи не здавайся».
Feels GOOD to be on THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY/HUMANITY. UKRAINE = EUROPE + NATO. east can ('t) cope. Would feel sorry for "them", if they acted like they deserve it.
I think regardless of how you feel, you still have the right to live in peace. Humans are alike wherever, we just change attitudes in groups. As is said in Finland: "Stupidity gets concentrated in groups"
@@99stories99 "YOU" do MOST IMPORTANT work for THE WORLD. Good job! Support is guaranteed. For the greater good of "good/humanity". It's THE BEST we/to have.
Well.. one of the division that got beaten at Raate road battle was soviet union's 44th division which troops were from Ukraine.. so it had nothing to with Ukraine's battle for independence twenty years earlier. So your comment is quite nonsensical.
Tried their luck? They were forced to go much like Kreml forces little boys to get killed in Ukraine now. Like they sent little boys to get killed in Georgia. Like they sent little boys to kill little boys and get killed by little boys in Afghanistan. Like they sent little boys to get killed in Europe. But one doesn't have to take a look at the past to understand how little a human life is worth in Russia when Kreml decides. One can see it every day.
I listened to this again after some time. This piece of music still brings tears to my eyes. Partly because it's so hauntingly beautiful, but mostly because it reminds me of the pain that the Ukrainian people have to go through. Slava Ukraini, Heroim Slava!
I am crying while listening this song. My grandmother lost 4 brothers (all of them), grandfather 1 (the only one) during our defence mission against terroristcountry which it still seem to be. But mostly I’m crying for Ukrainian innocent people dying today for free Europe. You are so brave to stand up for our freedom. God pless you!
I wish I could do more as a finn... after war if you need civil engineers from abroad, I ll be there... Slava Ukraini. My great grandfather fough for in baltics for their indpendence after Finland had secured its... its in our blood..
@@Tedger yes it is in our blood!! I lost my uncle in the war.. he was only 17, almost 18.. so I never got to know him.. my grandfather never got over it.. and hell yeah we gonna help Ukraine after this shitty war is over!!
@@jaanaaumanen1024 i am just feeling useless.. prepared to fight soviets mentally when I was kid, SU had collapsed when I went into army... never held weapon since, been building about everything since, tunnels, bridges.. last year in spring everything changed for me (nothing compared to what ukrainians have to face) took part in mpk aktivities and loosing weight. First time after 30 years.. we stood in formation in full combat gear outside the barracks... something I never wanted to happen ever again,, there were about 40 guys in our gruop/planoot whate ever.. many of us havent touched the weapon since 90's or 00's... but all the commands were in our spine.. it was otherworldy, the training was still there. During the day I talked with ppl and why they were there... I got same answer from everybody.. Ukraina. We were agend from late 20's to mid 50's.. but instantly we were knit together, united.. it was weird weekend at Santahamina.. so surreal. Now laid off temporarily from work.. too much time to think stuff... just running and gym.. and stuff.. might come handy in near future.. hopefully not tho. Sorry about lenghtly babling :)
The most painful thing is to realize that after this poem, unfortunately, Ukraine was occupied, ruzzified, millions of Ukrainians were tortured, deported, shot, starved to death (The Holodomor)... I am very happy for the Finns that they were able to fend off the ruzzians, otherwise it is scary to imagine what the ruzzians could have done to them. I *love* Finland, it's sad that our countries don't have closer relations now, considering Ukraine's close ties with northern Europe in the past. Nordic countries are friends with each other, Slavs with each other, Baltic countries, etc., this is the norm, but still a little sad. If I could trade my understanding of the bloody ruzzian language, I would without a doubt choose Finnish. Beautiful language*.* Kiitos!) 🇺🇦🫂🇫🇮
@@jaanaaumanen1024 Oh God, no! I'm from Ukraine, and we hate ALL ruzzians. We understand their bloody language and can talk on the Internet with "poor ordinary ruzzians", and 99% of them fully support everything that is happening and want even more. I will not be offended, but only because I love the Finns very much)) What made you think that I am from ruzzia?! Right now there is an air alert in Ukraine, and instead of sleeping in my bed, I'm in a bomb shelter with my family, so I'm not going to worry about that one percent of possibly adequate ruzzians, and neither should you.
As a Ukrainian, I am crying because this poem's relevance hasn't diminished, my countrymen still have to prove that they deserve to be free by fighting. Finnish nation, among our western neighbours has been so incredibly kind and supportive! Thank you so much, especially for understanding our negative feelings 🙏
We will stand by you ❤❤ hell if I have to take the guns .. I will.. I might be a woman and a small one.. but I have my priorities ❤❤!!💙💛 SLAVA UKRAINI!;EVERYTHING WILL BE UKRAINE 🇺🇦
