Happy Saturday Teri. Yay, Ginny has her yarn, so we can see the Halloween sock colors. Looking forward to seeing how the hats knit up. I saw the challenge on connect. I’m working on being mindful to measure carefully my portions. Heaping tablespoons aren’t the same as a tablespoon. I want to learn at least one new crochet granny square pattern as my challenge during the Olympics. I downloaded a few that looked interesting to me to choose from. Have a relaxing day.

I did receive my Halloween yarn yesterday too. I was surprised when I got home and it was there. I was so tired after work yesterday that I fell asleep and missed most of the opening ceremonies on you tube😂nice thing is I can rewatch after work today. Good afternoon Teri. Your bread looks so tempting. I need to get back into doing more baking from scratch. For lunch today, I had a fresh from the garden tomato, mashed potatoes, and chicken breast. I topped it off with a fresh fruit salad topped with a dab of whipped topping. Total of 5 points. I went with a low point meal because I earlier snacked on a 7 point helping of animal crackers.😔. I have struggled with snacking this week. I am still adjusting to the updates to the app, but think I will like the changes once I get used to it. I do like the month and two month weight amounts. I am looking forward to seeing how the pickle yarn works up. Have a wonderful afternoon and evening.
Good morning Teri, I can relate with you on a lot of levels. Your pickle yarn is gorgeous! Well here I am thinking I’ll never get my July socks done.. hope I do before the first… I spent all day yesterday getting a horrible knot out of my yarn ! I don’t know what happened, I pull from the center and whoa a big mess of yarn came out.. took all day between cooking and laundry to get it out 😅. Made me think of my journey too. But I’m not gonna quit knitting because I lost a day, right? I love your long chats. Make me think 🤔💕have a wonderful Wednesday ☺️
I'm the same way thinking of my next meal...when you were showing your sale I was thinking hit looked good maybe I will have that later and so on thinking b of food...I snack at night and was telling the sister I go to ww with and she doesn't have that problem so no help there...lol...but I did discover that my one niece understands me so I can talk to her about my journey and struggles so yes it makes a difference...a lot of what you said today I can relate to...I don't like mushrooms but I bought some for my sister..I'm not going to cook them up for her though...I haven't checked out new ww app..I have been using my fitness pal
Have you been to the Amish store on Lawrence Road? It’s called Clear View I think. Lots of baking supplies and candy. It’s pretty small but I go to get baking supplies. I should have watched all of the way through 😊
Happy Tuesday Teri. It looks like you had a very fun day visiting the Amish stores. I love seeing the scenery. I dug up my 2’ x 4’ bed of potatoes today. Got about three pounds. Much better than last year when I only got one small potato. I still have a 4’ x 4’ bed to dig up. Hoping to get as many or more from that bed. I will replant the beds with green beans and peas for the fall. Hope your day has been going good.
Happy Monday Terri. You are so talented in being able to make that fairy blanket. It looks beautiful. I am working on catching up my July square. I got behind because of company this week. I did finish a beanie hat for my granddaughter though. First time using a bean stitch. I found a few baby cantaloupe hiding under the plant leaves, a couple four inches big. It surprised me to find a couple that big. Weigh in was this morning. I stayed the same. I’m happy with that because of the company this week. Hope you have had an enjoyable day.

You have great ideas, I think we are gonna try to make the vanilla, sounds fun. Well it’s Monday, I’m gonna face the scale. I am really struggling. It doesn’t take much for me to get sidetracked. I tracked half the week😕 now I have to start over AGAIN. But I will, I’m on a 6 month plan , I pay regardless , so I better get my head on straight. I just feel so overwhelmed… this too shall pass…I keep saying that. Until the meeting I’m gonna knit and clean house. Have a good Monday 😎💐

Good evening Teri. It’s been a busy day. The bird cam my daughters put up in my backyard has turned into a squirrel cam. Lol. The blue jay makes his way in some of the time. Hoping more birds discover the feeder. It was drizzly much of the day. That hat is sure neat looking. The English muffins look yummy. I really like English muffin egg sandwiches. Some of those roads and barns sure have a familiar look. I love you take us along with you.
Teri, I really like the Alaska hat pattern with the trees. It's too bad it was made with the wool yarn. I'm sure you'll find another yarn to make another set. When you do, please show them to us.
Good morning Teri! What a lovely video today with the songbirds💕 . Such a beautiful day . I have the Alaska hat pattern too, I started it last year and frogged it, you reminded me of it. I can’t remember why I frogged it I think my ribbing was off. I’m using black and sometimes I can’t see what I’m doing😅. It is a beautiful hat to make though. Time is flying by .. so many things I want to make.. well with that said , I gotta get going to work. Have a great Saturday! 💕
Your garden is looking really good Teri. I understand about the excitement of seeing the baby produce on the plants. I’m hoping the squash that have set so far in our gardens make it to maturity. I love the looks of the neon sock. I ordered some UpNorth yarn to make a couple hats for Christmas gifts, the Michigan State and Eclipse yarns. Enjoy the rest of your day and your weekend.

Good morning Teri! The garden is really growing. I love it. I’m excited to see what you dehydrate . We have a Breville oven that has the dehydrator feature. I’ve never tried it yet. I’m starting to get cucumbers coming out of my ears, lol. Cooler temps and rain are coming for the weekend. Can hardly wait. Good morning Teri! Your blankets are spectacular! I actually finished my Anker ! I’m getting a good hand on my July socks, I’m using my yarnable June yarn. Did some hospital knitting, dropped a stitch… fixed it. Lol I carry those little fix it tools in every project bag. I hope and pray that the rest of the summer is calmer around here. I do look forward to fall. I’m not a summer lover. It is fun watching your garden progress. I’ve started gardens in the past , however when it comes to weeding and maintain as the temperatures soar and the humidity and bugs.. yuk . 😅 Have a beautiful Thursday 😎💕
Your blankets are looking great...this summer I haven't done much ...I don't do well in hot and humid and that's how it has been here in northeastern Ohio....but summer isn't over..and I'm still struggling with weight
I have lost 103 pounds. It's not easy to lose weight, you have to be determined, and its all in the mindset, its your journey, you do what's best for you, you do you. It is a rollercoaster, go with it.
I really enjoyed the chat. I’m a pre tracker. I track first thing in morning, and then adjust throughout the day as needed. I stayed on track this last week, but still gained 0.6 pounds. It’s a roller coaster for sure. I’m skipping prime days this year because I splurged on the JoAnn’s $2.99 yarn sale a bit ago. Sure am enjoying normal summer temperatures again.
