Many years ago i had to drill out 2 x holes at either end of a 2 metre aluminium pole which fitted through the rotator on a mast for the antennas. The result was as you guess off set holes. A new 2 metre galvaniszed pole arrived yesterday and wondered how i could align the holes accurately as i do not have any jigs and rigs to do it like some of the videos i watched last night . Came across your video and thought ,that looks a good idea. So this morning what i did was ,i had a straight piece of wood to draw a straight line along the pole . I have to make 2 holes either end of pole to line up so the 2 x antennas can lay exactly horizontal with each other. This is important to accurately line up to point at the satellite while tracking its movement . The other reason was we had very high winds which shifted one of the antennas on the pole which put it way out of alignment . Also the aluminium pole was getting crushed as i tightened the bolts. By doing these modifications the antennas will not move out of alignment from each other,which makes it more secure. I have followed your video and made the template and marked the holes with a punch, drilled out the 2 holes at one end . And would you believe it when i put the same drill i used through the holes they lined up ,perfect job done. I am extremely happy that it worked. Now i am away to do the other end of the pole. When i drew out the templete i added a dashed line through where the the holes would be and it line up with the intersection hole in middle of paper templete. Absolutely brilliant idea of yours,wish i had known about this years ago. Thank you for sharing this idea.

Mister what's the problem with my machine if there's no electrical flow. When I step on the padel it only gives a buzzing sound. And absolutely nothing happening. Please help
I am not sure. Buzzing sound indicates current is flowing to motor and it is jammed. Unable to rotate. Only by opening and isolating the motor from machine by removing the belt that you can identify the peoblem.

Very difficult to suggest something without knowing the exact issue. There could be multiple possibilities. Please isolate the issue one by one. Noise is coming from where ?

தற்போது 30 முதல் 50 அடிவரை இந்த காற்றாடி இழுக்கும். ஆனால் காற்றாடியை இன்னும் பெரிய அளவில் செய்யும்போது திறனும் கூடும். இதன் வடிவத்தை அப்படியே பெருக்கலாம் என்பதுதான் சிறப்பு.

My sewing machine is jammed. I cleaned the bobin pin area. I opened half part of the machine ,the wheel is jammed. The belt is moving but the part after belt is not moving . Please help me . Thanks in advance.

I wish you all the best. Singer is indeed a very old brand. There are other brands also. Commercial tailors use local brands. Household domestic users buy branded ones. New one will cost between 10 to 13 K basic model. In second hand it depends on the seller.
My intention was not to cut the mirror into small rectangles. I could have had a long strip of mirror. I earlier did a project on parabolic dish for which I cut the mirrors. Same pieces i used here.

Hi, sorry for delayed reply. Was caught in work. Yes, you are right. I still have those mirrors. Measured. It is 2 inch x 3 inch only. I donot have other measurements because I have recycled those aluminium and wooden frames already. But I can say, there is no hard rule on how high you need to keep the receiver. It has to be as high as possible so that the mirrors need not turn much or when the sun is morning or evening, there is no loss in surface area of reflection due to slanting of mirror. The beauty of reflected sun rays on mirror is that it acts like a parallel coherent laser beam. Distance doesnot matter.
