Hi! I'm Caitlyn. The only thing that I am more passionate about than crafts, is people! So I created a channel for the busy people, and the people who don't think they can craft. Unlocking your creativity doesn't have to be scary or take up your whole day. So if you've got a few minutes to spare, come create something wonderful with me.
I'm glad you enjoyed this design! My biggest goal with my channel is to make jewelry and crafting accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of experience or age, so that may be what you are hearing. Thank you for watching!
This little bee pendant is cuter than all get out!! Thanks, Caitlyn, for your demo of this really fun project. This would be one project I would try if I didn't have to spend the rest of the morning hunting for ingredients at FMG...just sayin'
Isn't the little bee just darling! I am currently working on a new format to get you all direct links to the products I use in the videos so stay tuned for easy access! Thanks again for watching, and for commenting!
Hello! I totally understand, lol, it took me a while to find them the first time too! Here is a link to the longer ones www.firemountaingems.com/A2228FN.html and here is the shorter ones www.firemountaingems.com/A2227FN.html I do believe they've got some other sizes too, but those are the ones I used. I hope that helps! Happy crafting!
Bead wrangling--so true! Love, love, love these little jelly fish earrings!! Any chance that FireMountain would put together a kit form for this project, or maybe a quicker way to find all the items needed in one central place? Thank you so much for sharing this fun and delightful project with us.
I feel like I should make a little badge that says 'professional bead wrangler' for all our crafters out there! 😂 I think that is a wonderful idea! I will be sure to pass it along to fire mountain! 💖
So easy but so pretty, very nice idea, chapeau! Btw, I just love your nails, especially those adorable butterflies :) Grtzz, And have a nice weekend, Marion
Could you identify the chain you are using? The metal material, the size of link and kind of chain...etc. Or - could you supply a link to the chain you used? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for watching! 😊 the plastic waste bothers me too, if it helps to know, I reuse all the bags I can, and recycle the rest at my local center. Happy crafting!
I had to chuckle at your comment about usually not measuring bits of chain--it almost makes me crazy NOT measuring!! Thank you, Caitlyn, for sharing these beautiful earrings with us.
😂 Not going to lie, sometimes my loosey-goosey methods don't work and I have to go measure if something looks wild, lol - thank you so much for watching! I love getting to read your comments 💖
@@busybeader ibe been thinking this for a while now, I started out making stitch markers for my wife using them and when we put up a booth last year at a fair, people was thinking they were charms, thats when i first started thinking I could possibly do this and still have them as they are. Have thought about the same for earnings as well.
Beautiful necklace! Could you maybe list the description of the items used in the projects in the description? I'm unsure what size jumprings would be best for the design. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! - I used 4mm sized jumprings for attaching all of the chain and 6mm for attaching the crystal. Here is a link to a page with all of the products that I use for this necklace - busybeadercrafts.com/projects/post/2181113/snowdrop-loop-pendent-necklace Hope this helps! Happy beading!
Hi, just found you from my Fire Mountain Gems newsletter! I've been making my own fairly simple beaded jewelry for years now, and just got my mom into it as well. It's a fun activity we can share.
The bracelet was beautiful but I can tell you’ve done this many times as you had no problem getting the cording knotted. For me, though, it just looked like a mess that I would have to spend slowing down your video slowly so I could get the cording loops and ends in the right direction. I would get frustrated too quickly I’m afraid. But truly the bracelet is beautiful. I need a simpler or easier way of doing this. A diagram if you will to go along with your tutorial.
I'm glad you enjoyed the design, and I'm sorry you had trouble following the steps! The first handful of times I made the knot myself it was very confusing and difficult for me as well. If I find (or make) a good diagram to go with this project I'll be sure to link it for you! Happy beading!
Hello dear, Busy Beader I hope you are well. You have already uploaded many videos on your channel. I have watched your last 7 videos. a few years ago when I was at Michael's or Hobby lobby a customer told me about fire mountain gems I've been 98% happy with their stuff. They have really good deals
