I disagree. Abortion is haram in all cases except to save the mother life. But in case of rape the should be aborted very very early and prevent the formation otherwise it is also haram.
@@astaghfirullah4406Use common sense. Islam would not force women to bear a child they did not consent to. You don't need a hadith or proof for everything in Islam. Remember that Allah SWT knows the intentions of people and their situation as well. So long as the child is aborted before a certain threshold (when the soul enters the body of the baby), it is permissible in the case of sexual assault.
You're wrong. Lucky for you, Islam doesn't care whether you agree or disagree with the ruling. As a general rule, abortion is forbidden (haram), but there is multiple cases in which it is permissible to abort a child. One of which, like you said, being if the life of the mother is in danger by carrying the child or giving birth, along with several other cases, such as forced pregnancies (through non-consensual means/sexual assault), if the child will live through tremendous pain, if they cannot provide for the child or find a suitable MUSLIM family to care for it, and multiple other severe and specific cases. In all cases (besides when the mother is at risk of death), they baby must be aborted early in the pregnancy, before the soul has entered the body of the child (which is within the first couple of weeks). Use common sense, Islam is not a puzzle to put together, and Allah SWT is not a mystery to solve. He is understanding, merciful, and compassionate.
