The oil sparator is only a piece of plastic with gaskets. Why not only cleaning and keeping the original oil separator and changing the gaskets by new ones?
Hi. I have a Passat B8 with DLA, but even activated it seems only keeps in low bean. The highbeam sign with the “A” inside, must be in white color or blue? Or alternate ?

So this is basically just an EQ setting, as I expected. If you set up Bass - Mid - Treble the right way, you will get the same sound without "Skoda Surround or Virtual Subwoofer". I thought, maybe, virtual sub would use rear speakers to play just bass frequencies.
