Well it is hard to understand on the rhythm point of view. Diego Pisador (gifted, passionated, generous) is just not a professional composer ... And we find 4 times as published. 3 times as often played (as a Galliard) and ... the good transcription by Dick Hoban (Renaisance Vihuela Music - Tres Libros de Musica para vihuela 1996 lyre Music Publications) with both 3 times and after 2 (or 4 times) ... So we have the choice ... but we do not know what Diego Pisador really meant. Even by comparing his work to other ones ... 😃🍀🌞 Again, congratulations ! All the best, Roger
Thank you very much Trond for this refined performance...your songs are always taken from sources unknown to many...and therefore very appreciable...thank you! 🙏🙇🏻
`Hi Trond, it is nice to see you again. You were suddenly in my video feed 😀. and I see a nice harpsichord too. Everything OK. All the best, ciao Ernst!
Hi Ernst, so nice to hear from you. Everything is ok, and with you? I bought the harpsichord from a friend but I'm not a good player. Not long ago I listened to some of our duets and I think we did some very good recordings. If you one day change your mind and return to the early music maybe we can do something again? All the best, Trond!
@@TrondBengtson Hi Trond, Indeed I am slowly taking up the early music again, but I have to find my way in it. I play violin and and I just am working on a spinet but perhaps i will get an Italian harpsichord again. The harpsichord was actually my main isntrument for many years on the conservatory. We surely could do some things again and perhaps even a concert sometime...
So nice to hear that you are taking up the early music again. When you are ready to do something just tell me and can can see what I can do!@@MyYearsWithEarlyMusic
Thank you so much, Trond, for these short but enchanting videos you've been putting up over the past few days. Let nobody forget that the 6-course lute of the early Renaissance is the 'fons et origo' of everything we love about our instrument.
