A Zimbabwean family in the process of planning their retirement back to Zimbabwe. We have been living in the for more than 20 years. We vlog our daily lifestyle here in the UK.
Bumped into you a few weeks ago when you were talking about the the title deeds missing and ofcourse had to start from the begining. Learning a lot and gaining contacts keep it. Murikugona handei kumba veduwe
Makorokoto 🎉 step by step you are gliding. What a great job you've done with the house. Perseverance, commitment and teamwork brings results. You're so inspiring and informative.
I'm sorry sis, there are evil people walking freely lost souls really, may you be healead and continue to pray for the recovering of the original deed.
congratulations on the progress - be mindful that a durawall is made of panels and in some towns you do not need to submit a plan as its considered a temporary structure - you are building a brick/boundary wall. People often use the names interchangeably, but they are different
Thanks for the tips! Yes we did submit a plan which I shared the process on this platform.I guess I am used to the term durawall rather than brick / boundary wall wall.
We have an issue in Botswana where People have applied for land allocation for years and years and u wonder what actually happens behind closed doors imagine I applied in 1993 and still waiting and I know someone is behind all our land problems 😢😢
Corruption and scamming especially around title deeds is rife. Even City council workers sell land to several people, other people sell their house to numerous people and give them fake title deeds. Such corruption destroys a nation. It’s even perpetrated the so-called ZACC.
My mum’s original paperwork for her flat (confirming full payment awaiting deeds) was never returned to her by the visa processing people who processed her visitors visa to come to the UK. That was
I think my mum and sister went to the offices and asked for them but they couldn’t be found. Sometimes people on some occasions end up giving up given the scale of problems or lack of knowledge of how to pursue. At least she had a copy but I don’t know if copy is certified by the authorities.
Lawyer wenyu ndiye ayida kutengesa imba. How did got the photo before collecting them? How did the estate agent knew him? Estate agents normally go to see the property not going around looking for lawyers. Muchenjere kunyudzwa nalawyer wenyu.
The photo was taken from the original deeds copy when the office as they requested evidence from the deeds office. They were shown the copy that is kept at the deeds office and took photo to show us.
By the way I was watching your videos for a while but didn’t realise I was watching through my husband’s account. I have subscribed now and can’t wait for the next update on your house. Me and hubby are also in the same process of trying to finish building and relocating back home so your videos are so inspiring to us . God bless you abundantly 🙏🏾❤
Great video my sister. This is quite worrying and how can this be happening. You are a child of God and no one and I say no one will take away what God has blessed you with. I pray that one day that person who has your original TD will return them 🙏🏾
The main issue here is the tittle deeds office. If they had stringent ways of ensuring that the deeds don’t fall in the wrong hands. I actually think they are part of the syndicate as well, selling or giving the deeds to a scammer. Sad to say I doubt anything will happen to the scammer knowing how Zim is so corrupt - Zimbabwe is soooo corrupt . What a joke of a country
The person made an national I'd with his face but details of your husband Most estate agents now want national Id, birth certificate You can place a caveat on your property so that Noone wl sell it
Great video my sister. Very informative indeed. I actually don't feel secure trying to purchase a home in Zimbabwe and I keep questioning myself what will I do after I've raised enough money to do it. Thank you for sharing your story and all the best to you and your family.
I personally think you should get the real estate agent that went to your lawyer, the deeds office and possibly your lawyers as well looked into. Pakuda Tafadzwa Chidawa or any private investigator. Because it feels like they are trying to get as much money out of you as possible before giving you your title deeds.
The lawyers did not charge us anything extra apart from the fees to pay at Herald and Government Gazette. They did a good job and we now have a certified copy of the title deeds.
So what happened to the person who walked in with the copy ?? They know who gave them the copy and that person has the original.follow that trail get CID involved
The person who walked in was an estate agency that was approached by the person who was trying to sell . They went to the lawyer to verify the legit of our deeds before they advertise the property. Unfortunately they had taken a copy and gave the person back the original. ZAC is involved awaiting for outcome .( Left this part in the video for a reason)
