Hi, I just thought I'd let you know how much I've enjoyed your GC hike video. I've watched a number of GC hike Videos but keep commong back to yours. Hope both of you are doing well.

Not rare for August because I came back to Las Vegas in August Summer of 2013 and almost everyday was humid raining and very cloudy felt like Ireland it was always cloudy every morning even on the first day of school!

The desert is a scary and dangerous fucking place when it rains. You guys got lucky.

@ajustin672, just rocks that washed up on the road, we where driving a 20 year old honda with roadtires, i was scared to pop one!

Awesome video. My son and I did this hike last November (2009). We took a lot of pics, but I enjoyed your video of the S Kaibab trail; your video really brings out the depth of the canyon better than any picture. I've never hiked the canyon in the summer; I'm guessing it was hot, but you avoided the sun going down by leaving late in the afternoon. The afternoon sun really brings out the colors in your video. Loved the fast tent takedown! Your video brought back great memories. Thanks!
