I accidentally pressed on the sensor applicator before applying to skin does anyone know how I can reengage so I can use it this time putting it on my arm before pressing on it
This is turning out to be a train wreck for me. I still have 2 boxes "6-G6 sensors" and my transmitter just timed out. My Dr has updated me to the G7. I just got a refill of 9 G7 units. I thought this was great until I went to do a pod change and the pods that I have are only G6 compatible. I still have 9 old pods, almost a months worth. My pharmacy says all the new pods are now for G6 and G7 but my prescription won't be able to refill for another 3 weeks! So now I have a CGM that works on its own and my pumps are useless. For the next three weeks I'm stuck buying Novolin 70/30 out of pocket from Walmart because Bluecross won't budge on early refills.
If people were also taught the basic fact that insulin is also needed for protein metabolism, they wouldn't fall for that crazy, "I don't need insulin cause in not eating carbs!"
I tried both. I don’t mind either. One is smaller more discreet with an old school touch screen interface (like the actual screen…) & the other is a sensor no special function s lime taking it off to go to the loo…?
So it literally goes into the Tricep muscle? I thought it needed to not be in the muscle. If you flex your tricep, is it in that muscle area? Also how accurate is it compared to your glucose monitor? Thank you
it has been released but not to everyone yet. however, if you have the omnipod 5 you can manually use the pdm with G7. This would be temporary until the device has the update. the update will then allow you to select whick glucose reader you will like to use with your PDM.
Any tips and tricks to keep it on. I've had several of them thus far that have either not worked out the box or that have fallen off. I have yet to complete the 14 days.
