Welcome to The No Gimme Golf Channel (@GOLFwithHOOSTEEN on Instagram). NO GIMMIES ALLOWED on this channel. I am not a fan of gimmies and never take them, especially when playing a match or a money match. Playing until the ball is holed out is how golf is meant to be played. There is nothing like the sound of the ball hitting the bottom of the cup. It is like a swish in basketball. Putting everything until the ball is in the hole will show a golfer how good they really are. I see too many people on RU-vid, and in real life, give themselves gimmes when the putt is missable. Golf is meant to be played by putting the ball in the hole. Tournament style all day baby (Dicky V voice). So, if you're interested to see what an average golfer shoots when putting everything out, this is your channel. Follow on Instagram @golfwithhoosteen. @no_gimme_golf on Rumble, X, and RU-vid. I will also be posting videos of fights that I went to. Please Subscribe
I bought a Staff bag many years ago and the zipper broke within the first couple of years. I bought that bag with the intention of keeping it for several years.
You're welcome. I'm glad the video helped. I am done with Titleist. No more of my money will be going to the Acushnet company. Especially since they sponsor those No Laying Up clowns. Currently researching bags myself. Vessel Player 4 pro stand bag and the sun mountain sync have peaked my interest so far.
Do you find that your bag will tilt forward (or be horizontal) while carrying it because of the position of the lower strap attachment? When my bag is on my shoulder, the bag lays horizontal, instead of the rear (bottom) of the bag hanging lower. Any leaning forward causes my clubs to start to slide out the bag.
I do not have that experience when carrying the bag. You might have to play with the length of the strap and see if that helps. I had to adjust mine when I got it.
I appreciate it. I have played it twice. This vlog was the second time. It would have helped the score to not finish the last three in bogey, double, triple. I will play it every time I am in the area, sweet course. Thanks for the comment. Play well.
My buddy has that bag and I am not a fan of how the top bars come in contact with the wedges when the bag is on a push cart. I was looking at a C130 stand bag the other day. That looked more functional for the push cart. Thanks for the comment.
One other difference is the Cart 15 has full-length dividers while the Cart 14 doesn't. I haven't seen the Cart 14 in a store, so I don't know if it has dividers or how long, but full length length dividers are so nice.
Thanks for doing this extended review, great info. How many rounds do you play in a year and what state do you live in? The reason I’m asking is that I’m shocked at seeing how much the color has faded and the wear around the magnets and in the area where the cart strap goes around the bag. I have an 8 year old gray C130 cart bag and I live in the Midwest and play 1 to 2 times a week from April through October. The bag looks like it did the day I bought it with not a single wear mark and no fading. I like the features of the 2023 Pioneer bag better than what I have and I was thinking about buying it, but if it will look like that after just two years I just may keep the C130. Thanks in advance for your response.
Thanks for the comment. I played almost everyday when I used the Ping bag. I was playing quite a bit, except in the winters. I would say I played about 5 days a week with that bag. The fading didn't bother me since it was gray and black. The material wearing away was a concern.
Thanks for posting, I also have the Player III Stand bag and experiencing the same issue with my clubs not going in and out of the 14-way slots smoothly. With all of the bells and whistle this bag has, the most important function of the bag did not meet my expectation.
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment. I was thinking about getting it until I noticed that issue when reviewing the bag. They need to make the club dividers larger and then that bag would be top notch.
