Hey guys I'm new to your channel I really like it I'm from Detroit Michigan, it's really cool to see a Britain telecast of of channel like yours, it's got a different look and a different take. I'll be looking forward to contributing to your program I know it helps, thank you again very much for being there.
Thank you hey I was just wondering if you could just tell me what time you guys go live I can't quite figure out the time difference but do you know what time it is you go live in New York (Eastern). By the way you're the first one to ever reply back to say thank you for a donation I really appreciate that that was very kind of you.@@RoaroftheLionsUK
@@Toddnesbitt It's 2:30pm ET, but you guys change your clocks earlier than we do for daylights savings so it'll be 1:30pm for a week or two in the fall. And of course! It's the least we can do.
Alim is 6'2, 310 Wingo is 6'0, 280 Big difference in size & natural strength and power. Wingo has been listed as a DE by the Lions, where his quick get off and low leverage can be best utilized. Also doesnt hurt that they hired Terrell Williams, one of if not the best DLine Coach in the league.
Our main point in the Alim comparison is how Alim's use of hands and footwork is far superior - and given that Alim is much bigger and heavier, I guess that's a little concerning? Williams definitely helps as you say.
Concerning Vaki"s top speed... At RB, witch is what the Lions drafted him for, he actually hit over 21 mph on a couple of offensive plays. Which means he's really fast on the field, and thats what's most important in a game. He looks much more natural as an offensive player than on defensive. He also has an extremely high football IQ & work ethic, and is an excellent ST player.
I love this podcast, I understand that you need to be optimistic when it comes to just about every school but you are honest enough to call out problems. Keep it up guys
Hello sir, ma'am I visited your RU-vid channel and noticed that it is lower than others. Your content is fantastic but seems to be lacking in SEO. Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One main issue is insufficient SEO (SEO score of your video that's why your video is not reaching people and you don't have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time and comments. I also noticed your video thumbnail was very bad, I think your RU-vid channel Waiting for your response
The Lions now have guys that can bring QB pressure from everywhere on the field. I think we’re going see seven and eight players on the line of scrimmage (four linemen, and three or four of our secondary playing press coverage ), plus Barnes occasionally creeping in or Campbell running up the middle … It’s going to be fun to watch.
Sorry to hear about the depression, but the three ladders of emotion say that once in a while you are going to be at the bottom, just try not to stay there. Head back up the ladder with football I guess? Haha. Best to you both.
Thanks Corey! I've had a history with it, although its been mainly ups in the last 10 years after I'd dug myself out of a big hole! Always a work in progress.
Greg Landry? Don’t remember him getting drafted, but remember watching him play with my Dad and Uncle. They were praising and bitching him about 50/50😂
Another great show lads! Thanks for the in depth breakdowns. If Chang continues his success at Hawaii, would he need to prove it at a bigger school before breaking into NFL coaching ranks? And where do you think his first NFL coaching position would be, QB coach?
Actually a back story Before Rich Rod arrived in Ann Arbor to coach the Wolverines The administration meaning inside the athletic department was sabotaging him prior him How do you think Ryan Mallett got to Arkansas ( Tulane had a pass first quarterback and that was how he started at Glenville State with a passing quarterback and at Tulane) Moving forward the people behind the scenes at Michigan pitted the Lloyd Carr players against Rich Rod West Virginia in 2007 had a top 10 scoring defense and Michigan had the a lot of players from their number two defense So make it make sense West Virginia never had a defense that just gave up a bunch of yards
It's a fair comment, but the prize is small enough that if people do that, it's not really worth winning that way! And, since faster answers win more points, looking them up will potentially mean they get less points than people who know their stuff!
100% agreed. I don't care if in a vacuum you don't think he's great. He's in this offense, with this staff. And in it, he's a top 5 QB. And he's proved it over 2 seasons+ straight.
@@RoaroftheLionsUK He’s the only QB to lead a top three offense these past two years, and he didn’t have top tier talent around him in 2022. In 2022, after the Hockinson trade, Amon Ra was his only top ten talent and even the offensive line was not giving home great protection - at the end of 2022, PFF ranked the Lions’ OL at #21 for Pass blocking, and #9 for run blocking.
Good to hear from you Patrick! DAZN have NFL Gamepass International, they show all the games, except for those purchased by Sky Sports on Sunday - which is one game in each slot. $200 or so for the year for DAZN. Sky is a lot more expensive, but you get all the sports they offer.
I honestly don't think our schedule is anything harder than last year or any year prior. Imo nobody loses out on a season in the nfl bcuz of schedule ie. Youre not gonna make the playoffs cuz u had an "easy schedule".
the only regret i have about going to the draft is that i wish i would’ve communicated more with different Lions fans (especially you guys coming from so far away) to be able to meet up
Ash is an FSU fan? Oh no, that's a shame! I was fine with them till they brushed the Winston allegation(s) under the rug. Now I find them extremely distasteful. Plus, Florida is just not one of the better states in general.
I think the cost for Manu is overstated. If the season goes like Holmes expects it to then our 3rd will basically be a 4th. The odds of a better prospect at the end of the 3rd next year isn't too high. As our team gets better we won't have a chance at premade skilled 6'7" 350 lbs linemen so we have to take a chance at making our own.
As we get better, and each pick gets worse, they get relatively more important to me, not less. I've never understood the point. Yes it's close to a 4th, but we then have only a late 1 and a late 2 in the top 100
