Become a better cinematic freestyle and racing FPV Pilot.
While I mostly fly FPV I'll be working with a variety of drones, including DJI Mavics, to help other drone enthusiasts bring their vision to reality. Let's create something memorable together!
This is a great video, You changed my mind, now I am sure I'll buy a runcam orange soon, with some color correction and for the price, is a great competitor for the title of th best FPV camera at the moment. Thanks!
I’ve had HDZ goggle issues with analog module. Lower half of the image is all covered in distortion ripples. Divimath has said it’s a clocks issue on the internal board. They board has been changed by the supplier but got same issue. It’s on going 🙄, haven’t been able to use them at yet and got them over two months ago. Disappointing
Hope they can fix it. I was thinking about HDZero goggles but went with Skyzones instead (they just work). Btw. nice music, what's the name of the song? Thanks!
was more curious as to what worry free is and why its better or different than conformal coating not why you made a water proof rig. but gave you the 👍 anyway
oh man, sorry if I misled on that :( so far I'm not in any position to say whether or not it's better than conformal, but it was really easy to apply, not that conformal was difficult tho.
I normally conformal coat all my electronics. And if I know it's going to rain, I'll squirt some dielectric grease in all of the connectors, especially the USB connector. The cameras are typically already fairly water resistant but it doesn't hurt to conformal the board and maybe some E6000 around the seal of the board and lens.
it's because in full manual you have to control the throttle at all times, this way it stays where you take it, otherwise the resting position would be at 50% throttle, it's not ideal for manual flight.
@@Mayday.Aerial So if the middle is 50% throttle and the bottom is 0% throttle. How do you go backwards? I've seen so many videos where the drone is ripping through a small window and then suddenly going backwards through that same small window. It looks impossible! Are they fake videos?
Good information it’s nice to know that the EMAX LERS controller can be binded with other drones My take on this is buy the RTF kit and then later on buy a better controller if there is only 10 difference it doesn’t make sense to do it the other way At least you will see the benefit of a better quality controller after using the cheap controller
I have the Avata 1, but the fpv controller 2 isnt in stock since forever, in a future firmware update, will the FPV controller 3 be able to connect with the avata 1
Hopefully yes, I have the FPV3 and it's really no different from the FPV 2. We have no confirmation though, But hopefully in a month or two yes they will unlock it and all of the related hardware to be more compatible
Thanks for the video! I had the first part but didn't realize I had to tighten the second screw. Anyways all good now. Just curious if you have adjusted the rates and gains to make the drone possibly more receptive to the stick movements. I think one thing everyone has to remember is this is kind of like taking any of our FPV drones and flying it with a lion pack compared to a lipo. The lion packs do not have the zip like a lipo. It would be interesting to see if they could make a lipo style battery for this drone., but I think it's defeating the purpose of this drone. It's really not designed for that in the first place
I need help. So I got my tiny hawk 3 and on first flight. After about 4-5 battery’s my goggles would run and then randomly black screen. Is this a over heating issue or what am I looking at I am lost on what to do ?
Gonna keep this in mind, I’ve just built mine and used the mounting screws and bolt. I did use the square plastic piece of insulation that came with the V2
Can’t remember if the foxeer digisight v1 was worse. Been so long since I flew them. For this original runcam, many of us were modding them to use a micro size lens which improved the experience quite a bit
interesting. I picked the camera up cheap to be able to move the Nano90 to my race fleet where it was much more appreciated. I didn't dislike this camera like I thought I would....a lens swap might make it just right
Thanks for the video. I've had an RC5 orange for almost a year and finally decided to start getting some clips made. This helped a ton. I "liked" the video, but once I heard Blink in your final video, that got you another subscriber. We've got tickets to our 7th Blink show this Aug in KC.
That's a tough one. I absolutely love the way a heavy freestyle quad flies and flows, but I also love the unassuming sub 250g ripper that no one notices. I always have a slight feel of dread when I send out the 5" and folks roll up near me. They sound scurry, lol
Huh, i had a similar experience with my prototype. Fixed it by using tape instead of screws. My theory is that there is some ground loop or something in the frame that gets insulated by mounting with tape
I'm with you there, it's the only thing that makes sense. Usually I would put some gummies between the vtx and the frame but there's not enough room. I'm glad I gave this a shot before just accepting 'it is what it is" because I'm super happy with it now
