I don't know the fanfic's plot, but what the hell? The video is awesome about them but why the hell he won't go back home? What happened? I need to check out this fanfic!
I’ve seen a lot of things that say that the 2012 characterization of UF is terrible and that I shouldn’t read it but this animation is wonderful and the moments you’ve portrayed look amazing so I’ll have to give it a read and judge for myself cuz if this !
Thank you! I also seen people say bad things about the characterization but the writer also agrees in the beginning chapters that the characterization is off and wants to redo them. So I'm happy that you are willing to give it a chance.

I've recently started reading UFF because it caught my attention. I was around 10 when I first started watching 2012 turtles and I never noticed the abuse towards Mikey because I wasn't aware of it existing. I was surprised about what happened after they escaped NY because that was as far as I watched the series before streaming was discovered in my household. I never knew April was an attention seeking gaslighter. I never knew Mikey was overlooked so many times. and I never noticed he was the ignored child. I used to love all the turtles but now that I'm older and more aware, I have mixed feelings about 2012 Raph, Leo, Donnie and April. Casey is okay because he was never mean towards Mikey but now I just want to hold onto him and never let him go. I hope the fic ends with a happy ending because he deserves all the love and happiness given to him. I know a majority of you might argue with me but if you pay attention you can see how Mikey is treated. In Shell Acne he wanted to be like his brothers but they got mad at him for messing with mutagen. He spent a long time in Dimension X and figured out the ins and outs. He knew something was up with April's mom but was ignored. He literally died and pulled himself back together. He saved them from the mutant pizza but they didn't believe him. Out of all the different Mikeys throughout the entire timeline, 2012 Mikey was the only one who was treated like this. I'm sorry for ranting but I feel like something needs to be said for my favorite Mikey. He needs to know what a happy ending feels like instead of being treated like trash.
About the difference episodes u pointed out: they got mad at him for using a reject batch of retro mutagen (Donnie even labeled the jar as dangerous) him spending months in Dimension X was not his brothers fault cause they didn't know how time worked there, I'll give u the thing about April's mom since I'd be a bit suspicious as well, I don't remember him dying/putting himself back together so I won't comment on that, but for the mutant pizza thing: Pizza Face literally said that the people who were turned into "zombies", including his family, would go home, wake up and not remember a thing so of course they wouldn't believe him! People viewing Mikey as some smol baby that needs to be protected is dumb Ya he's the youngest but he can also be annoying as well (likes any younger sibling)
Love the little nod at Mikey's recent decision at the end there :) Lovely animatic and song choice, you really put a lot of effort into this, so thank you for that <3 For what it's worth, I hope the author doesn't decide to completely antagonise his brothers. They all suffered under the weight of their Splinter's generational trauma-- not to mention his death would've added a fresh load of trauma onto them all, especially Leo, having all the responsibility of his family thrust onto him at once. If they ever see each other again, I hope they all at least reach an understanding, because they all *definitely* love Mikey (despite what the rise gang may think) ... but just see him as an easy punching bag for all their stress-- especially since he 1) Really makes it easy (by often being a Little Shit™) and 2) doesn't seem to be affected by their abuse in front of them. Not that they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions though. They still hurt their brother, the effects on him are real, and they have to own up to that. But that doesn't mean they're unforgivable. Whether Casper decides to stay with the rise fam or go back to his brother's (or even forgives them...) will ultimately be up to him though... Unless the author does what TFFM did and just makes them all one huge family that all just share a braincell... except the Donnies will keep hold of it most of the time, "for safe keeping, of course".
