Very sad about apples choice, this album is great but this exposure will bring haters not enthusiasts. Good album but not greatest especially ranked over the other in the hip hop category alone. weird/wrong choice. It will devalue the comment sections but not the art behind the album. Hope a few new ears find it, but still... wrong place to.
Yeah, it sucks that this was going to happen. No matter what they put in number 1 someone was going to hate the pick. I came here because of I thought I never heard this album, only to find out I knew a couple of the songs, so I'm glad the top 100 got me to listen to it. Sadly music has many genres and not everyone can like every single one, so not everyone can appreciate this.

This was the most listened album when it was out. One of the loves of my life loved this and he's no longer with us. He's RIP , hope he's hearing her voice now. Just beautiful music.
Try out Captain Beefhart if you think this is the worst shit you've ever heard. There's also Wesley Willis or Daniel Johnston if you can't appreciate art.
Came here from the apple ranking, first time listening to it. Incredible album, I've really been missing out. For those complaining about rankings or whatever give it a rest, it's great music just enjoy it.
So what I want to know is why is this the number one album of all time? In who's mind? Who took the poll? Its just more rap.... 🥱 Rap reminds me of all the crap my parents ranted at me growing up and in the end, we both lost. This album is #1 of all time, even beat out every album ever made by Michael Jackson, but why? 🤔
