@@ericsperspectivepodcast We owe you a tremendous debt Eric for hosting these luminaries on your platform. You've really filled a void in the market. Quick question. What are your thoughts on music festivals who host a call for entries for artist to design the event poster? Seems like spec-work...
I need to get in touch with Evelia Jones. I have the only known picture of Sally Hemings done by Charles Willson Peale and his young son Rembrandt Peale. I really think she would be interested. Its dated 1789. Mademoiselle Sally Hemings. In its original frame with wavy glass.
Any gallerist, artist agent or manager who refuses to support the artists they rep "evolve" their art is the gallerist/agent/manager that artist is supposed to steer clear of and find a way out of their contract. I totally don't agree with [all] "real"/serious professional artists having a "time card" job or plantation gig in order to be an artist is self-defeating and ends up either killing the artistic spirit of the artist and/or stifles their technical and aesthetic evolution. What makes artists commercially/financially successful is treating the creating of art as a business and not just "do art for art's sake". Take the romanticism out of it and artists can thrive. LMAAAOOO!!! "...gotta tail that hangs in the front."
