legit question !!! mine has just started doing this, never did it before. have put next to cup holder and got the car to start. but don't want to have to do this everytime. why is it doing now all of a sudden, and I'm pretty sure I changed the battery about 3 months ago. could it be a signal problem ??

Hi I'm having the same issue on my Grand c max and I can do the same as you to start the car... on the short range sensor but I use to be able to leave my key in my pocket and still start the car, now I have to place it near the handbrake, what's the next stage In getting the fobs to work the unlock and lock, also my touch handles dont work either any advice welcome , thanks

Can I start this model if the battery on the key has died? where located ignition coil antenna? I disassembled the plastic under the steering column. where it is indicated to the steering consul, he is not there.
