This came at the right time! I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit about my excessive use of instagram. I deleted the app last night. I think we are losing our sense of community, real community. I realised that I mostly interact with my friends on instagram!! No phone calls, no visits. That’s crazy. Empathy! Each generation is becoming less empathetic. There’s a measure of intimacy that cannot be shared on Social media. Recently, a friend of mine ended her life. The day before, she fell from her Ariel hoop and busted her chin. She posted pictures on her stories. I felt it was normal sports injuries 🤷🏾♀️… I did not reach out. I appear to be sociable, happy and content on social media. But in actuality, I am struggling! When I feel a bit run down, my first instinct is open instagram to distract myself, not spending time in prayer. 😂 The moment I realised that I’d rather repost a funny reel about anxiety instead of casting my cares upon God, knew there was an issue.

I reallly enjoyed the topics tapped into in this podcast....man I was particularly moved by how you said celebrities must be given space to breathe...and mindfulness be kept that they are human. And to keep them in prayer!! I think Christians should have a political voice as well....this is all our country!! Yep....Jesus is the ultimate star!! People definitely has things to say when someone goes "Offside" yet we forget that we are made righteous by the work done by and through "Christ" to fight of the sinful nature
However the Christ conversation is deeper than what we think. God is eternal, God is a Spirit. The names used in The Bible are from fallen Angels who worked against the true light . The Bible is the upside down version of the true book of The Most High of human kind. The root of The Bible is spirituality but the way it’s structured goes against us, we are actually worshiping another entity outside of God
Maaan this is so similar to my story 🥹. I grew up in a Christian based family from both maternal and paternal but my maternal grandmother is a Sangoma and she went to Zion. My paternal grandmother had a gift of intuition and seeing but she is very Christian , my great grandmother from my paternal side was a prophet so they knew I have a spiritual gift, I’m currently embarking on my spiritual calling.I’ve been the favourite grandchild on both sides. My step dad is a pastor but a dirty one who also inflicted a lot of abuse on my mother and I . I appreciate bumping into this topic

Now the ladies go and explain - just as condescendingly - what this English term means and that it contains the word man. And the men will suddenly realise that they are not being politely asked not to explain things in such a genteel way, but are being told that they don't have a vagina between their legs. This may all be well-intentioned, but it might not feel that way to the men. At this point, men are simply reduced to their gender. And they will feel that way too, simply because it is the case. So if this is not a high form of discrimination...

Your poem almost brought me to tears! It meant so much to hear a woman speak with genuine love and understanding for men, which is unfortunately something incredibly rare today. Keep up the good work, your words are so important for today and for the future!
