I think the way they locked up the crates (when pre and post hardmode crates were the same and if you waited until hard mode, you had instant hardmode ores) with the updates, the logic probably required some sort of biome crate and to avoid people getting hardmode items early, they needed something there. It was probably giving out hardmode stuff if you brought hallow with you, which would have been amazing if they kept it that way.
Excuse me? How in the world is most hardmode playthroughs 100 hours? I mean, I have thousands of hours in Terraria, but I have never put 100 hours into completing hardmode
Me and my friend never played Terraria before and I want to play it whit calamity mod, my friend is gonna be a summoner probably so I know what mods to install to permanently damage his brain
if only there were a way to obtain these items without crafting them.... *looks at all the bosses that drops a majority of these crafting items so you have significantly less crafting to do*
Only thing is, YOU LOSE THE STARDUST POWER WHEN YOU UPGRADE THE SOUL TO ETERNITY, if you want the stardust back, you have to go back and make ANOTHER stardust enchantment, and then make the force for it because it upgrades the ability (stardust enchantment gives you a 5-second timestop with 1 minute cooldown, the force does the same thing, but 9 seconds, with 50 seconds cooldown instead
You forgot one important factor. Nostalgia people like me who played the game from the beginning will know that there was only one biome back then, Corruption. Since the crimson was only added later, I'm still very much biased because I grew up playing terraria with the corruption ^^ (woops, wrote this before watching the whole vid)
flesh knuckles alone make crimson the better choice, such a massive increase in defense if you have the whole tree crafted, itll give you 26 extra defense... massive for later in the game. also vampire knifes are a supplemental weapon, used mainly for healing mid fight. I used them in the moon lord fight my first playthrough and dont think i wouldve won without them. scourge of the corruptor is very easily outclassed through some minor progression being a post plant weapon and golem unlocking far better loot almost immeadiately after. anyways i thought it would be fun to ramble here i guess.
I just got into Terraria and i cant decide, at first, i was jealous of the people who got crimson in their first world, but now the corruption is growing on me, because i started with it
