@@rastaweed1268 everyone’s personal preference I really like the sound especially for the price it was. Power and sound kit by bmw is a lot more expensive, I have compared it to my exhaust sound, hardly noticeable difference.

Brilliantly put together video. Looking into res deleting my 440 when I get it in a few days. Awesome sound, wouldn’t get bored of that! Cheers for the upload, finally a decent video without all the yapping 👌👍👍
Appreciate that, glad it helped. One thing I will say is just make sure you don’t have an OPF filter which was installed on models 2018 July and onwards if I remember right. If it does have an opf then to get a dual resonator delete you’ll need to map out the opf. If you don’t want to remap anything then it’s still possible to get a single resonator delete. However if you don’t have an opf just do a dual resonator delete and you’re good to go with an amazing sound 😃 Hope that helps
@@daviation4408 ❤️ thanks for the advice pal, appreciate it. I’ve found 2 to look at over the weekend. I know one Will have it on as it’s late 2018. the guy has put on the Akrapovic titanium slip on exhaust, CF Eventuri intake and it’s mapped. That alone is Going to sound insane. Load of M4 stying on it. 23k miles - £28k private buy. 2nd one is 2017, Completely stock apart from carbon look body kit 31k miles and 8k lighter on the pocket. I’m swaying more towards the 2nd one really as it’s 1 owner, from a franchise, and warranted. That one will be the one that gets the res delete - then the Warranty’s voided lol. I’ll Still go to look at the private one but would be nice the have that extra cash to play with it. Yeah man your video on it is mint! None of this walk around crap, rabbiting on and pointing out the obvious 🤦♂️. a good honest video with plenty of comparison to go on. Is yours mapped?
@@ashleygainard4978 For sure go with the second if you still haven't got one yet. These cars get ragged about and someone who has already done all that to a 23k mile car will have most likely been abusing the life out of it. I spent ages looking for a completely stock 440 when I was finding mine. The warranty is a big bonus too
@@daviation4408hey dude, well done, it’s an amazing car. Can you tell me, should I put a little bit wider, or exact yours 15 front and 20 back, I have the same wheels.
@@killbill645 Honestly, I think the current ones just about keep the wheel aligned with the arch. Going bigger could pose MOT issues if they stick out too much beyond the arch line.
My 440i passed its MOT without any issues, as the resonators don’t stop the emissions, it’s purely for sound reduction. Regarding the settings, I didn’t do anything, it was standard as it came from the factory. Just deleted the resonators and I have added a MST performance intake.
The exhaust system is 100% stock with just the resonators being deleted and exhaust tips have been changed. However the exhaust tips don’t do anything to the sound. There isn’t any drone effect either. One thing that I have done is upgraded the intake to a MST Performance intake. That makes the exhaust slightly louder I believe.
It’s a 2018 June model, so it’s the model before the OPF which was put in 2018 July I believe. So no there wasn’t any engine faults what so ever when I did the dual resonator delete.

Looks like some great weather to fly. I’ve been learning to fly this summer in Dallas, Texas where it’s about 40-45 degrees celsius every day and bumpy ✈️😬😬 Builds character though :)
The hotel the stuff the food the beach everything is good. I am coming back next summer definitely. I forgot to mention about the night shows they are awesome. Best summer ever
Wow this is perfect! I dont want to tune , and all exhaust systems are hella expensive. Ima do this as well. So glad i found this vid. Subbed!. I also need to replace my parking brake clip so will likely get it all done while on a lift at the muffler shop. U rock!
Thank you, the rear diffuser is actually the original m sport diffuser that originally is grey, however it was spray painted gloss black. Which made a massive difference.
Great vid, helpful and entertaining! Liked 👍🏼. Love the look of your car, I've just got a G16 myself and LOVE it but will be buying mods as it's screaming out for them. When drill/screwing the splitter and side skirts, did you need to be careful of any electrical wiring or fluid lines at all that were in the way?
Im glad you enjoyed the video. It definitely transforms the car so much with the m performance kit. Fitting the spoiler on I used 3M tape and tiger seal. Link to the splitter www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284956060432?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=emvPe-oMTpS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=luq3mwjct8q&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY With the side skirts I used 3M tape and screws. But there wasn’t anything to watch out for in the side skirts as it’s just plastic underneath. I believe the screws I used were 30mm long.
To be honest I regret not making videos for the other mods as it would’ve probably helped a lot of other people too. But only got the idea of making a video when putting the splitter on 😅
Thank you, appreciate the compliment. The rear diffuser is the original grey diffuser that is on the car from factory. It was just sprayed gloss black and it made a really big difference. I did say in the video but due to wind noise it’s hard to hear 😅
@@daviation4408 ah thanks! How did you do it? I’ve literally got the exact same car, and the rear diffuser looks amazing. Is it a case of just getting gloss black spray and then painting? If possible, do you have any pictures of the back and the front splitter and where you got your stuff done? No worries if not.
