I learned this song by looking at it, 2 minutes before recording... And completely missed the "bird's eye" hold before each chorus! Also I probably played it at a faster tempo than what many may be used to...
I love your channel. I was wondering, since I'm not much of a player or composer, but I play guitar. I used to like a lot of different secular music when I was lost, but now that I'm saved, I want to be able to play some hymns or write music in that style. What scales or chords would be good to get started learning to maybe write my own songs that might be easier. I have the hymn book but translating the notes to guitar tablature takes a while.
Very simple chords are fine for most. Both my piano and guitar playing are very from-the-hip and by ear, so I'm not much of a teacher!
