This game was mid. Thats why it performed the way it did. No one should waste their time on this unless they have no other idea for something they want to play tbh. Bad title, weak video, js. 😅
Great timing, this was just in the back of my mind. I remember watching some of my favourite youtubers playing it back in the day and it didn't get past ep 3 in the series. It looked like a lot of fun though. A shame it didn't take off.

Yeah, when the new (at the time) generation was being shown, this game was definitely one of the coolest ones. It really pained my heart it wasn't super big after the release, especially because of the previous Overstrike/Fuse situation. Maybe if it wasn't an XBone exclusive at release... Thankfully Insomniac is fully back in action with the Marvel games, so. Hopefully we'll see a sequel to this. Though given how long it takes to make a game now, and they're definitely planning on doing Spider-Man 3 (and that's AFTER Wolverine, I bet), I'd say it's unlikely.
This game has a certain "juvenile, young characters taken out from a comic book, having fun while inflicting violence to an energetic rock soundtrack, sporting ridiculous hats" thing that we've seen in soulless AAA gaming, before the soulless AAA industry made it ubiquitous and boring.

This game is absolutely phenomenal in every way it’s such a shame they never got to make another one once they got barred into being with Sony and are forbidden on making a sequel even though they were interested in doing so.
You just sold me the game lol. I had an eye on this game for like years just because of how it looked and the movement system but now well I pushed it way up in my "to play games" lol.
If the melee combat was more realized I would say it’s one of the greatest open world games ever made, but PROTOTYPE still holds that place in my book. Sunset overdrive was fun, but I couldn’t be bothered to replay it to be honest. Just don’t care for shooters like that. But I make a point to play every open world game I can.
Well your wrong got this day one was such a let down main thing is the co op play we got lied to promised full co op but was boring mini games the game play was good but did not live up to hype
