I have been on many holidays since I went here 15 years ago. This has been my favourite up to now. Greece in September and possibly Dominican Republic or Tenerife in November. Then Jamaica next year
We were just there, in this resort from May 30th to June 6th. I'd say the resort itself is pretty nice, maybe 8/10. Very convenient to walk to the lobby, the gym and the restaurants. Nice beach and pool areas. Buffet food was not great in my opinion. I'd say 5/10. I don't really care for sweets or fruits. I'm more into the low carb/meats and protein. Meat was on the dry side, the better meat that they grilled near the beach area was usually not enough for all people. Burger patties in the buffet had a strange taste. Bacon in the mornings was very salty. I love bacon at home but their bacon was not near the level I expected. Restaurants had better food, I'd say 7/10. I used the gym for running in the morning, and this was a disappointment. As 2-3 treadmills had issues with them, such as the treadmill would just die (dead, display off) on me mid workout, another one would just stop. One other treadmill had a mismatch between displayed speed and actual speed. For instance, when I set it to 6.3 mph speed, it felt like it went to 10-11mph instead. And these were persistent problems (i.e problems that I experienced when I was there). The staff would just reset the machines for the next guest to try their luck with. And I wasn't even pushing the machines that hard (usually ran 6.3 miles per hour at 1.0 incline), and I'm around 220lb.
Hi, the food was good; I have no complaints about it. However, it was a bit challenging to find a chair and shade at the beach, especially closer to noon. My room was on the second floor. It was an elevator
