Thanks for the video. Mean sounding 7 series! I was going to spend $3500 on the GT Haus exhaust, now after hearing your beast. I am going muffler delete
Hi, I know its been some years, but just came across this video. That looks like my original Sterling as I did a terrible job cutting holes in the side panels for some speakers and it looks like those holes are still there. any chance this car came from salt lake area? Do you still have and could I come look at it? I doubt you will read this after being so old, but would love to come look at it. Would it be for sale?
The big diff is the stock exhaust on the C4's. The C5's C6's and up have much better sounding stock exhaust systems especially with the "active" exhaust feature, which was not even available on the C-4's. The Vettes from the 60's were actually better than the C4's also as far as the sound, especially the big blocks.
I have the same car and that sound would be amazing.. I wonder how it would effect the emissions when you have to get it done?<< i dont remember making this comment actually
Nothing ordinary about 60's and 70's muscle cars. Nothing like today's unfortunate styling. That's why I've got a 68 Barracuda notchie...Oh, and that Yenko Nova is NICE...!!!
I didn't see one burnout.lol.someone squacked the tires a little bit.it was great to see that 1st generation baracuda.the guy with the Yenko Nova screwed it up,unless it's not a true Yenko.it looked good
Little late comment here - how did this car hold up over the years? I’m looking at a fully loaded (M sport + executive + performance package) 2014 750Li and would love to know if they’re good buys.
I'd go for one with low miles. Anything under 40,000 miles will be good or a rebuilt engine. I recommend you get a 750 from 2012-13 onwards as the 2009-2011 have a lot of issues and the Technical Update somewhat resolves these issues.
I got a2010 li x drive with executive package night vision and so on original price on mine was $159,000 amazing car however n63 engines are known for valve seals gaskets to go bad, so at minimum take that for a consideration the fix for that costs about $4000 . In my case I just got a brand new engine from a factory with all the issues worked out and getting a stage2 tune on it. Can't wait to see what 600 HP in this thing is. Over all once you own a 7 series it's really hard to find anything that would come close to it. It's really an amazing car and it's that good. You get best of both worlds performance and luxury. I just got a 6.3L SL63AMG AND that thing is beautiful and also amazing car, made for one thing, to shine like a star, it's made to go fast ,very stable even at 150 MPH, on turns it's like a go cart but at the same time it is a great daily driver too and I love it. As the two cars are not even comparable as they are made for two different kind of driving both are just amazing. As I said earlier with a 750 you get best of the two worlds so go for it. Btw The symptoms of bad seals is when it sits on idle for 2-3 min and than you Rev it up you'll see white/blue smoke coming out of exhaust. I can send you some pics what excessive oil consumption does to the engine since I got them. I hope you'll get one and I know you'll love it. Good luck and enjoy it
