It's great to find this. Thank you Antonio. I didn't know the wonderful Josephine Tey in the 1980s. Anyone who wants to learn how to write should read the 8 novels. It's well and faithfully adapted, but nothing can transmit the sheer humanity of her writing.
Wait for it. Spoiler alert! You have to see how Simon does it. what kind of creature at the age of ten plots to kill his first by two minutes twin brother to inherit an estate 11 years later at his maturity⁉️Only providence prevents his ascension through a complex moral ambiguity. Astounding story.
Actually based on other interviews it sounds like he was describing passenger Philip Mangone who he interviewed after the crash. The woman was his daughter not his wife so it seems he misremembered that.
Antonio, what you have here is a gem of a rarity. This is a rough edit of the PILOT episode for the series, When Havoc Struck, and not the actual airship episode that aired in the series. It was a one-off special called Catastrophe Airships which aired not in 1986, but in 1976, and I remember it well because the haunting music with the images freaked me out as a 10 year old viewer! I had an audio recording of this but it is long gone. I do have the audio recording of the When Havoc Struck episode, which was completely re-edited for the series and which aired with 12 other episodes weekly in 1978. I am almost done recreating the video for the later episode, but this blew me away that it even existed. Is there absolutely nothing more from the missing 14 minutes that's watchable? Would love to get an idea at least of some of the names of those interviewed and the shots that were used, even if damaged. Thanks for sharing!
@@jenniferbrewer5370 Yes, I absolutely will upload it. Missing a few key shots that only appeared in this episode and trying to re-create credits but it is close to the original.
Sorry, that was just a random A&E GM Theater broadcast recorded about a billion years ago. I was gonna toss the tape in the trash, but decided to preserve that episode instead. I don't have anything else featuring her.
