So with your diy incubator do you have the probe inside the egg box ? Had mine at 88 and later on found out it was 85ish inside the box and a breeder told me to put it inside next time to actually get the right Temps
Never inside the box! The entire incubator needs to be 88-89 degrees max. I use two probes one almost at the top shelf and one almost on the bottom shelf and I use a computer fan at the bottom to circulate the air so the temps are within .3 from top to bottom
@hookemroyals I have a computer fan on the top of mine and had it on low setting but I had mine on 88. Inside the box later on when I check was like 85 inside and even had press n seal and a good egg box so I had breeders say make a small hole and stick the probe inside to get the right temp I needed
@hookemroyals I had mine at 88 and a fan on top with it on a low setting and a good seal on em and later found out it was 84-85 inside the egg box but outside was 88 I mean they hatch but took way longer and I had a few breeders say put the probe inside the egg box to get it right
@@mators-creations not sure if your incubator is fluctuating. If you have 100% humidity inside egg box and it’s properly sealed and the incubator stays a constant 88-89 egg box should be anything less. Something is off on your set up just not sure what it is. I’ve never heard of anyone putting probes in egg boxes not remotely feasible with multiple clutches.
