Great video Johnny ! Learn interesting things about Sample One. it would be nice if Sample one has a kind of matrix like a lot of synths have to manipulate the sound, creating much more sound design capabilities. It's surelly possible to use Presence XT instead for it's matrix but incliuding it in Sample one is not a bad idea, and a more complex matrix. i'm praying Presonus to add that to a future update soon please...And why not little plugins devices like Max4Live in Ableton, that's a thing missing in Studio One. All that would be real cool ! Cheers. :>)))

So, you mean I can simply play a C chord all the way thru. Then, turn ON Follow and it will automatically correctly play the chords that I tell the chord trk to play? I can deal with that all day long.
Are you guys able to use the outputs? I’m trying to send audio out of protools daw3/4 to come out of physical output 3/4 on the HD8. No luck. Same with the rest of the outputs besides the mains. I’ve done this before with plenty of other interfaces, I’m stumped.
Are you turning up the sliders for 3&4 at the top of the channels you want to come out? If you're trying to get Studio One tracks to out those outputs, you need to put the mixer in Bypass mode.
There is only a loop zone option. You can just have one "Loop" on its own. If you drag in a loop you need to duplicate it through your song to get it to play more than once.
To transpose just one event to a different key, you must select the event and transpose it at the bottom left. Then this only applies to the marked event.
A nice you have a Presonus Faderport, I hope you don’t have a Mac because it will stop working if Presonus thinks that they don’t want to write drivers for your new OS anymore and basically wants you to throw away a good working device so that you buy a new one. Update: The controller is working for unexplainable reasons, even without the software after a couple of reboots everything started working properly. So I have to correct my rant about it.
Well you are completely wrong on that. I have the latest OS and no issues. Your issue is on your system. This is not a Presonus issue. I have had all my faderports on this Mac mini for several years and never had one issue. You opinion on Presonus is way off base compared to my experience and the hundreds of people I support every week. I don't work for Presonus but while people have complained about their support, your experience with the faderport is not common.
Also I update my Mac OS when ever a new version comes out and have never had an issue. So your situation is not common and you never contacted me for help so I'm sorry you had this experience.
@@johnnygeibHST I don’t know what was going on but drivers were not available at Presonus anymore. The crazy thing was that the motor fader and the lights didn’t work. The funny thing is that all of a sudden everything worked again yesterday evening. I was a little bit disappointed because I like that controller and it’s integrated in my desk. Very happy that it works again because I don’t like throwing away working hardware because of driver issues.
I think you're getting all the wrong info. All you need to do is install Universal Control. THAT IS THE DRIVER FOR THE FADERPORT. You need nothing else. There is no stand alone driver for it so who ever is giving you info is incorrect. If you're talking about the first song I auditioned, they were from Soundsets on Studio One plus. But I don't know exactly what soundsets they came from since I sorted by Instrument and by vendor.
@@johnnygeibHST yes sir I bought it and keela's voice pack and I put in midi notes and it does the default laa laa thing. I double click to put in text and as i type it is not focusing on the emvoice plugin. I is doing keyboard shortcuts in Studio one instead. If I type a M it trigger Mute instead/ Really strange.
I have been having massive issues with routing Maschine S1. This right here seems less complex than all the other tutorial options. Adjusting the settings in Madchine and going back and forth in S1 drove me crazy that I simply gave up. I was not getting any sound after following all the instructions unless there is a direct issues with NATIVE INSTRUMENT. But I will try the alternative and come back to post if it was successful. I have a Maschine Micro MK3 and Kontakt Keyboard/Midi.
Sorry for the late reply but I can't seem to successfully to do this. The routing seem very cumbersome between the VST setting and tracking it in S1. I'm not sure if best case scenario is to create an instance for each instrument track. I find doing this in Logic Pro is a bit more easier despite running into a few routing issues. But I just prefer the workflow in S1 and was hoping that I can seamlessly use my Kontakt keyboard & Maschine Mikro MK3 as a controller. But I'm beyond flustered to bother at this point.
@@johnnygeibHST I will try again. But thank you so much. I'm not sure between NI, Studio One and Mac OS updates /and new ARM chip over the years has created compatibility issues. But I will continue to tinker around and see what happens. Cheers.
No , I mean that when you drag from studio one browser , which ones do you drag, the ones that have extension *.audioloop , or the ones that have extension *.musicloop , or *midiloop. ?
When you download a Soundset from Presonus simply double click on it and it automatically installs. There should be nothing more to do. But remember these are exclusive to Studio One and can not be used with any other software.
can you show us how to export the macro, or can you include with the HSt power toolbar, and what those controls on the top of the channel above the input controls? are those unquie to your interface ( those items that say 51dp 48v P) this is great macro to have better than a template

Great video. Great mix. Thank you for sharing. It sounds like you improved the original. High end does seem a bit over the edge at times (a bit of de-essing needed?) , but it gives vibrance to the song too.
